Thread: How do I find all of you Starsider Chefs?

As a Master BE I have chosen to specialize mostly in crates for the Chef (Arcadia, Naboo Starsider) my problem I have is that I can't find the chefs. I have some regulars (my prices are really pretty fair 25-26k for micronut. and 40-41k for broad spectrum) but I can't find chefs too often on searches to let them know I have a vendor that is always stocked. I am wondering if most chefs are in hiding or hiding their titles? On an average day I can locate only one new chef to send an email in hopes of getting them to visit my vendor. The shuttle is right next to the merchant tent so I don't make anyone roam the town looking for my vendor.
What would you suggest I try to find more of you out there? Anything but spamming the Coronet Starport, it's got enough already? I just find it hard to believe that there are only 2-3 chefs on each planet at a time.

Well, you'll probably get a few responses here, that's a start. You could also do a similar post in the starsider forum (if you haven't already). You can also look for food vendors, although to find out the name of the chef you'll probably have to go there and check the "creator" tag of the items for sale. And I guess you could do something similar with food up for sale on the bazaar. Check who crafted it and get in touch with them.
Although if you're looking for serious chefs, there might only be 2-3 per planet. Some people picked it up after the revamp strictly because it was new (or they thought they could make a quick buck). Of course, there might be chefs who get swamped with /tells and go around without their title on, so they wouldn't show up in your search. Or players still working their way up the profession, and don't like the look of "Novice Chef" so they keep their title something else.

Wow, thank you for the great ideas. I will check out the Starsider boards as well. I was thinking of making a couple of singles to put on the bazaar but wasn't sure if many checked the creator name on them. Thank you both so much!

This weekend I am going to be setting up a few new vendors on Starsider, one on Tatooine and one on Naboo.

Yeah get some BE additives to SirVimes, can't have the chef correspondant making cheap noob food now can we. 
I generally figure 60, 50, 40k for the price of additives in the final food product when I do pricing. So a 40, 35, 30 price schedulefor the 'raw' additiveprobably works well, depending on demand and quality. If you are having a hard time selling, it is probably due to the price being to high. I've seen the light additives go as low as 15k, though the meat price is inhibitory for me to do that.

I am on Starsider and i have two be suppliers who bring me Light food additives in crates for 25k and medium for 40k. Im in search of finding some more medium food additive crates.
