I just wanted to ask what the most importants stats should be on berries and fruit. I I imagine the 3 that matter are OQ, PE, and FL. And if those are the most important can someone please tell me in what order. I looked at the expirimental filling and nutrients for vasarian brandy and both have higher percents for PE. Does this mean overall quality for berries and fruit dont matter as much? And for alcohol do stats like OQ and PE matter for the cereal u need to make them. I would guess so but not sure.

I am pretty new to chef so don't quote me on anything

Quality of resources for alcohol does not matter.

Quality of resources for glasses does not matter.

Quality of water for medium additives does not matter.

I have been making:

400+ power

36 minutes

10 uses (large glasses)

50 filling

I have been using:

84+ BSN

Berries - DR683, FL832, PE987, OQ790

Fruits - DR137, FL681, PE 554, OQ809

I have used the same berries for everything but I have also used different fruit with the only real difference in numbers being DR. Which was less that 100 and I was still getting the above stats out of it...

I got the impression for the medium additive we can just get from a bio engineer and put that in the slot. But are u saying we have to get the BSN additive from the bio engineers and then actually use water and the additive and make it up ourselves?

Yes, get the BSN's from a BE. With the BE BSN, you need to make a Medium additive which requires 15 water and 1 bsn.

Yep, you have to make a factory run to turn them into 'additives' that you can use in food. It's really fun, and quick too!

WRT to the original post, the best berries I've been able to get have a low PE but high everything else (beats low PE and low everything else ) and my brandy sucks compared to some other chefs. So I have to sell it cheaper to compete. For Brandy, PE is WAY more important than anything else (at least, until Nerf Publish 7), because most customers just look at the buff size.

Quality of the resources used for the subcomponents is irrelevant, although I have a suspicion low quality may slightly increase the chance of a crit fail on assembly?

bah how many factories do u need to have a business, lol. So i put the tons of water along with the BSN in a factory and let it run and make the additive? And haha that was a very slick cross out next to publish 7. Why what is supposed to happen in publish 7? Why would they nerf chef when they just revamped it?

They are nerfing crafting experimentation /sigh

I use 6 factories, btw. I am also a BE so I use a couple factories for the BSN's...

Shouldnt be a big deal should it? I mean if the nerf it that goes for all crafting right? Everyone will suffer so it shouldnt matter much i imagine.

Brandy isn't that easy to make, and that is the reason why 300k+ for a crate is acceptable. You don't need 5+ factories it just makes it got faster. Again the reason for the price. If people could make 100+ crates a day of it, it would be as cheap as spice.

Stats matter on what you want your final product to look like. I had +417 41.5 minute and 406 44 minute and people prefer the 44 minute stuff. I normall take duration to 44-45 minutes and then the rest into buff. Others tend to max buff and then the rest into duration. OQ matters for both, PE matter for the buff and Flavor matters for the Duration.

Honestly I would just experiment. Hand sample a few that are spawning. If there is only 1 decent one spawning, I'm not sure what the question is about as you only have 1 option in that case anyway. Make 100 or so alcohol in a factory and hand make some glasses. Try out different combos until you find one you like.

Crates are summoned from thin air.

So add the alcohol, glasses, additive (optional), and the resources needed and you will have pure sweet crates of Vasarian Brandy.

So for the final factory product do i put the alcohol and glasses in the factory together and they just come out crates?

Or do i need something to make the crates?
