Chef Archive

So id spent hours baking up a storm. I am a chef with Business III. I went to my house's management tool and created a vendor. I placed the vendor, initialized the vendor and payed maintenance. I clicked the use vendor radial button and was presented with no way to sell my baked goods. Too my absolute dismay, I had only a buy option.

Does anyone know if you need Business IV to be able to sell your items on vendors? What good is creating a vendor if you cant even sell on it?

Later in the day my backpacks full of milk and other perishables mysteriously left my realm of virtual existence. But thats another story.

So you went selected "use vendor" (or double clicked it) and got the same view you get when going to someone else's vendor? That's.....odd. I jumped straight from nothing in that branch to Business 4 (had a lot of crafting xp saved up), but I know quite a few crafters who sell from a single vending machinewith only Business 3. Do you have the region radio buttons on the top left ("this vendor", "this region", "this planet")?

Did you maybe accidently click the "offers" tab at the top? This is where people can put stuff up for sale on your vendor, but you're the only person who can buy it. It's a handy drop-off point for scouts/rangers to deliver meat.

Yep, same view as if I was viewing someone else's vendor. Incidently, another person with admin rights on my house WAS able to sell items on my vendor. Maybe it was just a glitch. Ill try again tonight. Perhaps my vendors will decide to work for ME and my backpacks will have found their way home.

Sounds like a glitch.

You might want to ask over in the merchant forums about this...they might know better.
