Hey all-

The best poison resist food I've made is 25% chor-nor-oola or whatever it's called.

I heard someone talking about 40% resist food- is this with a really powerful additive or is it a different food?

I'm using +50 NV micronutrient in my chor.

thanks

40% is impossible for cho-nor-hoola...mainly cause bone doesnt have PE or Flavor.

Hi

I'm not 100% on this but if a resource lacksa stat it goes off the stat that it does have thats why ppl use wood in bio ingredients it does not have PE or FL but has OQ so if it has a OQ or say 900 it works like all 3 stats have 900 I found this out yesterday myself. VERY handy to know. so all you need is a good OQ bone and there you go.

What does poison / disease resist do?..

Decrease chance of D.o.T. stciking?

Decrease D.o.T. damage?

Decrease D.o.T. duration?

I've heard rumor that it decreases the "stickiness" of the poison or disease; however, this foods sucks : (

Most of my customers told me to not bother making it.

It's funny how the profession that is the most hated and unbalanced (CM) has nothing to counter balance it. If this food were worth a damn, we'd allbe drinking that free bubble up and eating that rainbow stew : )--name that tune if you can you are uber indeed

This food is in the category of I'll make 10-12 crates and won't have to bother with making more in months.

It would be much more useful if it was a resistance to the dmg and not a resistance to getting poisoned. 30% of the dmg taken off each tick would be useful. While maybe not a huge amount, at least a lot more useful that its current form.

Something that would help move sales and demand, would be a message spammed in the Combat window when a Defense Mod works. The Sythesteak is great like this, as it shows exactly how much damage is mitigated in your Combat spam.

How nice would it be to see in Combat:

>Your oppenent tries a KD, but you resist!

>Your oppenent thows Poison, but only 70% of it sticks!

Something like that. Would be very easy to demonstrate that your food is working if they don't get those messages without it, or at least less frequently.

During combat, your opponent knows their Special didn't take, so they'll try it again until it does in many cases. But you just see that you're diseased, instead of the fact that youresisted 2 times first.

Wish list?

Cho-Nor-Hoola is the only poison resists food, with a good additive (light is the highest it can have) and high PE/OQ you could get around +30. I suppose with perfect resources you might be able to get +32, but that would be about it. Some other stat resist foods can have higher numbers, but they are for state effects other than poison.

As far as my testing has gone, the lack of PE on bone doesn't hurt foods as long as some resources have that stat in the recipe. Garrmorl is an exception since none if its resources have PE or Flavor.
