I need help becoming a 12 point chef a have a crafters apron and wonder what else i will need to become a 12 point chef? any help would be great, thanks alot.

You'll need a total of +15 in food experimentation skill tapes or already enhanced clothing. The tapes can be in any combination of pluses but you can only use one tape per article of clothing. The tapes DO NOT stack in the same item (i.e. you cannot add +3 and +2 food experimentation tapes to the same hat and have +5.) They can be placed in any article of clothing with an available socket. Once you get to a total of +20 in food experimentation you will get 12 points of experimentation...thus making you a 12 point chef. Hope this helps...happy crafting.

That helps alot exactly what i needed, now i have to find some skill taps, which could be hard to do.

Just a clarification. What is said above is absolutely correct. But realize it is only that way because of a bug that has existed since day 1. You should be able to put a +2 and a +3 into 1 piece of clothing and get a +5.
Yea, now the hard part is getting the tapes. Depending on how lucky you get you might have to spend from 10 to 40 million on them.

Doesn't seem to be as hard to find the tapes as it is expenisive. At least on bria seems there are always people auctioning this kind of stuff, but only the big bucks people get them. As for finding them yourself, that could take a lifetime lol. I think you would be much better off getting the money together to buy them then to search for them.

You must also take into consideration that you are limited as to the number of clothing items which can have sockets, and that the apron will take one such slot, that you can wear at one time. Given that the tapes do not stack when places on the same item, many of your tapes will have to have high bonuses.
I believe I was the last person on Bria to purchase a full set on the trade forums. 21.4 million credits.

Thanks for the clarification. I didn't realize that it was because of a bug that you can't have skill tapes stack. I just assumed it was SOE's way of making things more difficult on us. As for finding the skill tapes, I agree. It would take you from now until Lucas is done making all his SW movies...including the rumors of 7,8 and 9.
