Thread: So What About All The Other Chef Foods and Drinks?

I've been a chef for a week now, and I was wondering if I'll be able to sell anything besides brandy, canape, bivoli, blue milk, vercupti?

Also, do you think they'll nerf doctor buffs, kill solo missions, and perhaps make all our other food and drink worthwhile? I mean, why do I care about an attack/defense bonus when I've got over 3k HAM and what good is +300 Health buff for my Rancor?

I wonderhow the combat revamp will impact chefs?

One item that I noticed trickling off my shelves steadily is Vegaspersine. Didn't even notice but I ran out a few days ago. Lots of stuff sells, but there is will always be main foods that are very popular and sell a lot more.

I agree, the combat revamp will most likely have a big impact on how people use foods. And I bet I'll finally sell all this damn scrimpi I made. It's awesome stuff if you don't allready have a 12billion Quickness.

You can easily double or triple that list.

Scythsteak, aircake, vegash, snow cake etc..

No they won't sell 20+ crates a day, but people still use them. If I only sold 3-4 items I know I probably wouldn't be chef for long. Its mainly the reason why I gave up on Armorsmith before I made a single piece of armor. All everyone wants is Composite it seems.

I don't expect our buffs to change much at least in which ones are popular. Docs still won't be buffing mind so you only have chefs and entertainers for that. No matter how much they nerf doc buffs I can't see an huge increase in health or action food sales. The durations just are so much lower and there are so many other options. People would use other drinks, but because mind buffs are so rare, brandy offers the best bonus. I really don't see this changing. Even if brandy gets nerfed, it will still be used because people need all 9 stats buffed.

I do wish def state foods offered a larger bonus. Something like Thaktillo for all the def vs x and something a little stronger than aircake for all the dodge/block/counterattacks(maybe 50-60ish for high end BE versions). The current values would work if the stomach decay was actually 30 minutes, but at 45 minutes you just can't take enough of those def foods to make it worthwhile to use them most of the time.

BE'd Ahrisa is hands-down my best seller, all it took was educating my customers a little. You're cheating yourself by not selling it (and you're probably wasting a lot of extra time/resources on that dratted Canape).

In PvE, the attaqck bonuses etc don;t matter a lot, in PvP they make a massive difference, especially when you're up against a stacker.

I sell a large amount of citros snowcake, pica thundercloud, air cake, pikitta pie, synthsteak etc as people move away from the Brandy & Canape mindset.
