Currently I have a apron w/ 2 tapes that come out to + 5 for a total of 10 points which = 1 point , So im a 11 point chef right now

My question is Would having 1 more point really make a diffference? I mean How much mor eof a impact could it make to justify the cost of buying more tapes.

IMHO, more is better. Wouldn't you like to have that one extra point to pump into the lower attribute you neglected during experimentation in previous tries? For me, it's about producing at the highest level I can. If one more point helps me produce a better product than if I only have 11 points...and the consumer is that much happier with the product...then I believe it's worth the price of tapes and clothing....IMHO of course

Thanks,

I need +6 so for my 2 points, so i'm saving up and hoping i can get a couple of +3's on the cheap.

Cos for a tape the size of +6 it'll cost the earth.

The big money in chef is from the best foods possible. The market for the best is much greaterthan the market for the next to best. That 1 point can make a huge difference when trying to win the regular business of high rollers that woulda bought something if it was a couple points higher.

Plus, you eliminate most competition when you create superior goods.

The diffrence of 1 point on brandy is almost always 1 minutes for the final duration. Not having the 1 point can hurt your sales. Most people now look for brandys that have a minimum of 45 minutes so they can always use 2 at a time with no down time ( even 44.5 minutes can hurt if it happens at the wrong time )

So yes gettingto 12point is always worth it for chefs.

have you tested this, or are you just going by the 45 minutes that we hear about?i make 43 minute brandy and i can always drink 2 more as soon as it wears off, unless my BF is high. so in my experience you don't quite need to get to 45 minutes in order to have no down time.
