Hi!

I just recently ground through chef. Not a hologrinder(wont it be nice to never see statements like that again?) And am slowly beginning to acquire resources to start making some good foods and drinks. I just had a few questions:

1> I have some 15.00 Food and Chem Crafting machines and a 40.?? Crafting Station along with a Chef's Crafting Apron with the standard +5's on it. First off I am wondering if taking my Crafting Station as high as I can find will make much difference than the 40.?? stat that it has. What kind of difference would I see? Is it even worth worrying about?

2> I have heard of 12pt chefs. I know this translates from how many + points you get in food experimentation seas so I was wondering how many more points I have to get to be a 12pt chef? Or is it a straight change from +12 food experimentation points turns into that +12 chef statement I see here and there? Basically asking do I need to have another +7 food experimentation seas to hit this point? And if so are there any good loot drop spots to hunt for these?

Edit2: Okay, after alot of reading I see that I need a +15 points of food experimentation to become a 12 point chef.

3> My wife ingame is a Master Tailor slowly expanding into BE clothing and I was recently given a list of resources and quantities that I will gather to give the Master BE to begin making me crated items. I was wondering if anyone knows of any websites that does the same thing for chef BE components? Perhaps a question better suited to the BE forums but its hard to tear them away from pet recipes. lol. So, I thought to ask here first.

4> I have perused the FAQ here a bit and perhaps it escaped my notice but is therea list of chef items that dont need to have the top quality stats? I remember reading something about making dough use your worst stats items since it doesnt matter any. Just need to know what I need to focus on for gathering resources instead of getting top of the line cereal, water and everything out there.

Thats it for now I think.. Thanks, Kai

Hehe, welcome. I'm trying to check your edits to see what's left.

1) The best station possible is a +45, but a +40 is generally considered "close enough".

3) You'll be hitting your wife up for trim, so stay on her good side.

4) All components (dough, alcohol, bantha butter, etc) don't effect the final food, so just use up grind quality stuff on components. This also goes for components that are usable by themselves (veghash for vegeparsine, pastebread for sweesonberry rolls).

Thanks. I thought perhaps that 40. rating would do.
