I've been searching on the Chef forums and the BE forums, andI havent found a post that can help with this question.
I have a BE who is working with me, I need to know if this would work on making BSN.
Lets say I use wood for the flora component, the only quality that wood has is OQ
OQ - 1000
PE - 0
FL - 0
Would the experimentation use all 1000 or only 33% of that 1000?

It would work, but the final result you got would depend on the quality of the meat.
20 Meat: PE 800 FL 750 OQ 500
60 Wood: PE --- FL --- OQ 1000
The rating of the final food would be as if you used a single resource with PE 800, FL 750, and OQ 875. Assuming the 33/33/33 schematic percentages are right, this would allow experimentation up to around 80%.
Using high OQ wood for the flora/organic slots in a BSN work if don't have any flora with stats higher than the meat you're using. But if you had some 900PE/900FL/900OQ tubers, that would work better in the BSN than the 1000 OQ wood.
