Ok, I guess my last stickie was not obvious enough because I still see people ask the same questions over and over again.

The Ultimate Chef Faq by SciguyCo. This is a great FAQ. FAQ means, by the way, Frequently Asked Questions. If you have a question, there is a good chance the answer will be in the FAQ. What is the best way to grind? What is trim? Why won't my bio-engineered components go into the schematic? They are all answered here. If you do not find the answer, please feel free to ask the board. But if you ask a question that is in this FAQ, be prepared to be ridiculed! The chefs are a mean, vicious bunch of hooligans! You have been warned!

Food Chart by SciguyCo. This is a great chart by SciguyCo that tells you what each food does and what is needed to make it. Note, these numbers are without BE components and might be off a tiny bit, but it is still a fantastic chart and every chef should have it bookmarked!

Customer Food Chart by Vandessa. This is another version of the food chart done by Vandessa, our test center correspondent. While SciguyCo's is the best for chefs, this one is better for the customer of chefs. If a non-chef is looking for food, this is the best site to send them too.

Chef Calc by Bihlbo. This is a really tool for chefs to help you figure out how much any particular food cost you to make. It is very well done and great for figuring out how much to charge your clients. This page just impressed the heck out of me. If you have any suggestions for improvements, Bihlbo has his own thread on the subject and would love to hear them. He is groovy like that.

Food Pricing Chart by Mokia O'tannia. This is a very useful page to help figure out what other chefs are charging. I don't consider this chart the be-all and end-all of pricing. Each server has different economies and what food will sell for on one server will be considered cheap or expensive on another. This is an excellent starting off point, however, and you can make changes based on your own expenses and common sense.

Well, those are the ones I had for now. Thank you to all the people who contributed it. And thank you to all the people who take the time to read them. They really are very well put together and useful.

Tx, but your link does not talk about ithorian mists. You have to prep 3k glasses and 3k alcohol but it gives more.I know alot of hologrinders are like me and are not afraid to spend some cash.(mix 2) The soypro trick was very nice.

I'm not sure I see the benefit. You get 240 xp (non-practice)for Ithorian Mist, using 40 raw resources and 20 for the components. Kiwik Swirl gives 260 xp using 80 resources andyou don't need a factory. I suppose if you hand-make each alcohol, you'll get a total of 280 xp (292 in practice mode, 40 for alcohol, 252 for practiced Mist) but if you consider the xp / combine you're only making 146, and it's the minimizing of the number of items you have to craft that makes a good grind choice. Is it the higher xpto resource count of Mist? I'd think that'd only matter if you're worried about resource harvesting or cost, and you said hologrinders are ok with spending. Or maybe the more specific resource types required for the Swirl (which are shared with Vasarian Brandy, so resource prices might be higher)?

I'm definitely not saying there's anything wrong with it, there seems to be quite a few more grind options in the revamped menu. I'm just curious what the continuing appeal of Mists are.

FOR THE HOLOGRINDERS OUT THERE!!:

The Chef XP cap for a 4XXX or X4XX or XX4X or XXX4 chef is 120,000 food crafting xp.

I haven't found a thread that states this explicity, but have heard people talk about 1.5x or 2.0x max (77.something).
