At 0434 artisan your limited to 100 items on 1 vendor total. Unless you don't plan on selling a whole lot or plan to restock 1-3 times daily that isn't enough.

Maybe you might try doing something I'm doing:
Master BE
Master Chef
0004 Merchant (lots of vendors + item limits)
0441 Artisan
This is my current templete on my chef. And then I am buying all +5 or greater Surveying CA's.... get 4 +5's (do-able with clothing) and you'd basically be 0442 Artisan. So you get improved Range

With Novice Merchant you have 750 items and 4 vendors (or 3 not sure)
That should be enough for pretty much.
Either keep it at 0442 Artisan then, or go to 0444 (for better survey range) but you'd have to drop Tailor then.
If you know a friendly tailer though he/she might be willing to make you a few Trim schematics at once, so you have some supply

You may want to ramp up your bussiness and maybe even get novice merchant (at the cost of surveying) because you get NPC Vendors and you may have trouble stocking all the items you want with the recent item limits that were put in place.
