I never wanted an alt until i was forced to drop chef on my reg character. I lived without Chef for a month or so, then finally I had to give in and get an alt. I loved chef and crafting even though I didn't do anything buy one run of brandy on my reg. I decided on a Master BE/Master Chef/0004 Merchant/0441 Artisan Templete. (I finally just completed this last week) But I grinded BE and Chef in about a week's time (that was hell) and then I worked my butt off to gather all the resources I needed for a big opening. I would grind Shaman missions like crazy with my reg to bankroll a large opening. Finally everything was ready to be made. I set up a cross server trade and have 15 factories placed. Along with having 15 x 13 BER Flora, 2x13 BER Moisture, 2x14 BER Ion Generator, and 3x13 BER Mineral harvestors. I harvested all my own resouces (minus the meat) needed to make my first successful opening. It was a great time for me to. An Dath Carn spawn of 988 OQ 960 PE 727 FL Meat spawned and I bought 130k of which to open with. I made 55's, 85's, 115's tissues and went into production overload. For my opening I had 8 different menu items, 3 of which had runs of 40 crates, 4 had runs of 20 crates, and 1 had a run of 15 crates. Then came time for me to open. I stocked my vendors with crates in 5, 10, 15, and 25's and I stocked them for a nice price to get the name of Cosmos Food's out there. But alas it was too cheap. I made awesome profit quickly, and quickly bought 260k more of that Dath Carn and a +3 Food Exp CA (putting me at +113). i was doing awesome. But people bought too quickly because the main chef on our server was away for a number of weeks and his vendors were bone dry. I entered at an awesome time. Now that i have tons of credits to restock, there is no cereal to be found. I refuse to give my customers crap. But there is literally NO decent cereal around to make my tissues. about 3 times a day for the past week I've had people send me tells asking if I have this or that, and i give them all the same response, "I'd be happy to make that for you, but there is no decent cereal to make a product deemed worthy" swgcraft.com was not updated for cereal on my galaxy, so I personally went out to every planet and sampled every single cereal when I figured the spawns have switch. This spawn has showed me nothing that I can use. No matter how often I post on the trade forums asking for cereal, no matter how many people i contact ingame, there is just no cereal.

So here i am, after months of hard work, and the perfect opritunity to break out as a top chef on my server (my goal) and it's all crumbling down because I can not restock due to a lack of cereal. It's just becoming very discouraging to continue to log in only to find no one having mass amounts of high quality cereal. Bleh....

Sorry, just a rant.

Heh, yeah since finding this out i have 2000 BSN's cooking (87s) 1000 Micronutient and Intellegent (57s 117s) with plenty more resources for more schematics. w00t

Ehh, you serious? I was under the impression you only use cereal for all tissues. yes I"m using nutrients.

I have over 400k of this Hari (the Talus Greens) and it's still up. Wow.... I'm glad I found out this was just my stupidity w00t!
