Has anyone ever tried selling Bufa Treats in crates? I was just thinking that if you could get them in the 60 minute +60 range(no additive) they might sell good on the bazaar. Even if you got the filling down to 10 that’s +600 health for an hour, you might be able to get it down lower. It would be a nice helper item if you got the filling in the 7 range that’s +840, or you can mix and match them to fill in with ahrisa/canapé/veghash(like some people use the Tea). The biggest reason I’m looking at them is the cost I can make a crate for under $300 and I could sell the crates for $3k on the bazaar I bet. I need to find a master Artisan to try it out.

Any ideas?

Dont think you really need a master artisan to try this out as you get all the experimentation points in the eng and domestic arts lines. Perhaps you should look for a human though as they get the +15 to artisan experimentation for being human.

To answer your question no I have not tried this but it does sound interesting.

I have Bofa Treats (and most other Artisan foods) on my Tatooine vendor. Some people have bought the odd single, but no one ever got a case. My character is a human, so she has 11 points to experiment with. Using top notch resources, I run the buff up to +50, then try to get the duration up around an hour. I use the stuff myself for casual hunting, along with the other Artisan buff foods.

There is probably only a small portion of the player population who will be interested in the Artisan foods: generally the low-levels who are just discovering food buffs. People with more experience are usually spending their money on the much more powerful Chef foods. However they also get interested in Artisan foods because of the much lower filling. So this more sophisticated group may want Artisan foods (low filling) with BE-enhancement (more power), tho that also drives the prices up. BE-enhanced Exo-Protein Wafers sell pretty well because you can get about the same damage reduction as an un-enhanced Synthsteak with about 1/5 of the filling (only about half the uses, tho).

The Artisan food that I sell alot of is Crispic. The enhanced accuracy seams to be something new players like. I usually sell them for around 500cr each. Not a huge money maker, but it gets my name out.

Just my 2cr worth.
