fledgeling chef here looking for some help from the pro's.
This spawn of berry, which is needed for canape and brandy as you all know just appeared on my server, knowing flavor doesnt matter for brandy or canape, i figured this might be good, except for the fact DR determines filling. I cant make either yet, and im far from a 12 pt crafter, so what i was wondering was if someone knew if i could get 50 or below filling brandy, and what kind of filling i could get with canape with this.
Or just generally if you dont mind taking the time, what kind of stats i could get as a 10 and or 12pt chef with this berry for either product, or what this might be good for...or is it good for nothing?
Since i cant make, i just wanted to know if i should stockpile this for the future.
Thank you for your time

They all matter
OQ & PE give th buff size
FL give the duration of said buff
DR sets the stomach filling for one dose of the food
So if you have high OQ & PE and crappy FL & DR, you will have to spend most of your experiment points on getting those upto acceptable levels. If the flavor is too low you get 30 minute Brandy or the DR you get 51 fill, both will kill any sales you would get even if you had a +440 buff on them. Try to shot for hig OQ & PE and moderately high DR & FL (900+ OQ 900+PE 650+FL 650+DR). Now you can improve the stas for the berries by find fruit that has high FL and moderate DR and high moderate OQ & PE. Just have to work with it and see if you can make something that the market will buy.

Thats strange, when i looked the schematics up on swgcraft.com it said nothing about flavor mattering, it wasnt in the equation at all.
My only concern was that it stated filling was 75% DR and 25% OQ.
So your all absolutley sure this berry is no good?

Also what's very important to not is that although it's 700ish for PE, which would be pretty decent. You have to take into account that PE is 66%, meaning low PE matters twice as much as it ussualy does, so you can almost consider the power to be 500ish or maybe even less. Which isn't that great.

The berry is not THAT bad...
Might be good if you just don't have any other, and if you have Fruits with high Flavor that might counter it.
And yes, Flavor is very important for Brandy, since most people want 45 minutes brandy, you need to hit about 50% for that.

Will completely matter on the fruit that would be used. While I would not use these berries, that does not mean they are useless. IMO, the goal for brandy should be +400 45 minutes 50 filling. Even filling you drop, the duration can drop 1 as well. While this is by no means set in stop(ie, +390 45 minute is not useless) I think is is a standard that people should shoot for.
I don't believe even with 1000 all stat fruits would these berries achieve 400+ 45 minute brandy. The flavor is just too low. If this was the best berries around, then maybe they are useful. These stats though are nothing spectacular. Something close to this probably spawns once every shift or 2.

You look for flavor to be around 650+, and dr 500+, then 750 oq, 850 pe as a minimum for canapes and brandy.

Oh, I'd just like to note, just like armor, food has different PvP and PvE standards.
PvP = Highest possible stat, don't care about duration, 50 fill
PvE = Don't really care about stat, but have a minimum like 380, duration HAS to be close to 45, 50 fill.
