I'm a new 12 pt chef on Valcyn. Just started making synthsteak for the first time and I'm not really sure what stats are most important for the customer. What I have so far is:
5 uses, 27 filling, 44% dmg reduction, 30 attacks affected
or
4 uses, 27 filling, 44% dmg reduction, 34 attacks affected
Essentially, I'm asking what, besides dmg reduction, is most important: filling, quantity or flavor?
Thanks in advance for any experienced advice

I sell the 44% red./34 attack stuff and I've never had a problem moving it. People will usually come in and buy 3 or 4 crates at a time, so I don't think they mind.
I used to hit 40% and put the rest into attacks because I figured, "Hey, what's 4 more percent??" but when I put it against the higher damage reduction, the 4% increase won out. Personally, I'd prefer something that lasted for more attacks, since 34 really isn't a whole heck of a lot, but most of the time I just make myself a batch of exo protein wafers to snack on as needed and give the folks what they want.

I sell 45% for 36 hits for 125k, mainly because its easy to make. It sells well, after 40% reduction and over 30 hits it will sell, you just have to price it right.

mine is 41% 40 attacks 5 uses 27 filling and I had to special order it as the Chef standard was 44% 36 attacks (more attacks=better imo)

I take a slightly different approach with my Synthsteak and drop the filling down to 25%.
+45% for 30 attacks, 25% filling.
I could leave it at my base 27 and get the attacks up a bit more but I had more requests for 25 filling stuff and it gives folks more options on how they can combo it.
It seems like as long as you hit 30 on attacks I don't get any complaints. Most on my server have this at 44% also....getting that 1 extra percent just gives me a marketing advantage.

I do the 40% -40 attack and it has been selling rather nicely at 80k a crate on Radiant. I made some synthsteak that had higher resists for fewer attacks and it sold very fast but I like the new stuff better. Once you reach 40%, you should put the rest in attacks...just better product. Example:
If you are being attacked for 1k damage each hit and you take:
40/40synthsteak :[(40X1000) X .40] = 16000 damage reduced
44/34 synthsteak : [(34X1000) X .44] =14960 damage reduced
I think you can reach the 40/40 stats with the current resources you are using and as you can see it is just better product. As for the amount of uses: no one seems to care that there might be an extra use in any of the foods. They just want the highest power for the longest amount of time. Very few people even notice the extra useand would actually think that theproduct is inferior because the "important" stats are lower. At least that is how it is on my server.
