Thread: Food experiment tape question

I have a tape with the following stats:
+12 grenade xp
+6 food experiment
Now, Im fairly sure if I put it into clothes, the +6 will not work, only the grenade xp will work.
If thats true, then can I get socketed clothing, put in another grenade xp, and then put in the +6 food exp/+12 grenade xp tape? Willl this allow the +6 to take affect?

You'd have to "pre-load" a +13 grenade xp tape to get the +6 food xp bonus to stick. Although now that I think about it, having +12 grenade xp might work, but I'm not sure enough about it to recommend it.

Also I have heard the rumor that a -7 (negative seven) Grenade XP tape in it first works as well.
It would reduce the value of the +12 tape to +5 (12-7=5) and it would make the +6 Food XP to stick.
But there are very confusing reports about this, all saying something else, and most is just hearsay (as mine too
) so again, only use at your own risk

a +12 will work, i recently did this with a 2 hand speed attachment, it had +10 but it also had a +15 unarmed damage modifier on it, so i got a +15 unarmed damage attachment put that in then tossed the other attachment in.

Ok to help you out i have recently lost a +7 tape due to this and can give you some insight. any negative tape will not work, negative tapes right now no longer negate the positive attribute. It would be correct to say you need to pre-load a higher number grenade experimentation tape first then drop your tape in for the food experimantation to work. Hope this helps, any question just ask

Please, please tell me that you didn't just basically kill that food exp. +6....aieeee. That would just be way too painful to hear.

I really wish they would give tailors the ability to remove SEAs from clothing. It would really add something new to their profession. Further I wish they would fix skill tapes as well. By the way, this all comes after putting on the tape I mentioned with a lower grenade experience tape. I knew the outcome, but I guess I was just wishing it would be otherwise. Oh well, back to the quest.

i was under the impression that iof u have a tape lets say like urs with +12 nade exp and +6 food exp that if u add it to clothing with a +1 food exp tape in it the +6 food exp will stick. anyone creect me if im wrong?
