Actually,it was originally in one of the SW visual dictionaries. I found a reference to it here.

If that info is right, it was mentioned a year before SWG was released, although there certainly could've been some cross-pollenization between SWG development and some of the Star Wars writers.

IIRC, it was described as a concoction of Dexter Jettster (the 4-armed chef from Ep2).

That being said, I'm going to make note of that page (and this one for food) for future reference of new food/drink items to ask for. It's also got a lot of little tidbits about most of our favorite recipes: Vas Brandy, Accaragm, Bivoli (an Imperial specialty), Vercupti (apparently a favorite of Obi-wan's at Dexter's diner), etc.

Nice find Sciguy! I know where the creator/author got his inspiration though. It cannot be a coincidence... I wonder if this author worked for the SWG dev team, or perhaps they used his work for the game. This would be interesting to look up, but since I assume anything in that book and this game is now canon? I have been looking through other sources, so cool. I hope all of them are in the game one day!

Well, I think I found the origin of the name Aludium pu36, a pre chef revamp drink component...It must be from the Bugs Bunny cartoon with Marvin the Martian...his Illudium q36 explosive space modulator.... Hmmm aludium pu36, illudium q36, I don't think this is a coincidence. Well, someone in the SWG dev team likes Bugs Bunny!

Those links now don't work for some reason. Here are the new links that work (for now)

Also, are there any rumors on what is going to happen to the chef profession in a few months?
