Have looked around, and have not seen a responseto this yet, so I'll add my query to the list. 
Do the barrels work yet? If so, for which items do they work? And what's the multiplier?

Oh, and the reminds me... while I think of it, have they said what the quantity multiplier will be? If we get 3x for the casks, I'm assuming in the order of 4x or 5x for the barrels...

I heard that it was 5x but Im not completely sure since they are currently broken. I think SV said that it may be more but I may have misread his post. Hopefully it is

hehehe... I could definitely handle 5x. Hmmmm... now... just need a boatload of power doobies, energy whatsists, and copper.

Barrels are a huge resource cost. 300k alone for the barrel plus 40-70k for the MA components. I would love to make these, but even if I had 30 harvs I could use I don't think I could keep up.
For 4-5x then will still be useful for BE food.

That is my hope... BE additives would truly become a worthwhile expenditure with some barrels to put the drinks in.

The devs said that the barrels would be fixed by the time the patch hits lives according to SV. Everything SV has asked for the devs have given so this should be fixed by live.
The only drink that barrels (and for that large glasses and casks) work for is t'illa t'ill.

Maybe if they change the meat requirement on BE Additives,this patch would work well. I think that if the Dev's changed the meat requirement to "organic," then we may be in business. As it stands now, Chef's have a lot to lose...
