Just saw this on the dev tracker and thought everyone would like to see this information. Publish 6 goes live Feb 12th.

Argl. I just filled my factories up to the roof with grind-quality components expecting the patch to be today. :-(

With some of the new foods available do you think there will still be a market for fishak?

I would take 2 brandies over a fishak anyday unless there is something I am missing?

Fishak will have a place until the supply is gone. From the look of things, it will take a few weeks to transition customers to the new foods and unless you can make a stack of brandy large enough to offset the fishak buff...there will be some "old food" hoarders out there.

At least I know how long I have to grind Master Chef with the resources I've been hanging onto for ages....

And no, I'm not a holo-chef... I've been planning to go Chef for a long time, but just never quite got around to it. I think I better use all this wheat and corn before the goalposts get moved!

Actually, it'll probably be easier to grind chef after the revamp, so don't stress too much over it. Soypro in Novice Chef gives 84xp (a welcome improvement over Wastril), Pastebread in Desserts I gives 168xp (almost as good as Ithorian Mist, and only need to get to a first-row skill), Kiwik Swirl in Desserts III gives 336 xp (well, ok, I haven't confirmed, but it uses 80 resources, no components, and most food now gives 4x resource count = xp).

Wheat and water can still be used in pastebread, but you'll need oats instead of corn. Huh, just looked through the resource requirements, and now nothing specificallyrequires corn. Use it up for the cereal requirement in alcohol runs, since quality won't matter. Kiwik Swirl needs berries, fruits, and water.

Well seeing as I had all the resources standing around, I grinded (ground?

) my way through Chef over the weekend. Now I'm going to give my fingers a rest & keep an eye on the resources popping on my server for the next few days
