Soon, Other players will realize the kind of money that BE's are making now. Then there will be a rush of them, and there will be plenty to go around.

Sort of like what will happen to chefs when they finish making us uber.

I think BE numbers will continue to decline for a bit, although I'm sure some chefs will add BE to their "template". We had a huge influx of players after the creating cloning release (our equivalent of the chef release) and the novelty of it has worn off for a lot of players. But honestly, a"stand alone" BE is going to make a lot more money selling pets, pet stims, or tailor tissuesthen chef tissues. If I was to supply a chef with just 5 crates of heavy additives a week, I would have to aquire 7.5k of high quality meat per week. That is obviously a very tough thing to do! And I'm not even sure if from a chef perspective, if 5 crates a week would be considered "reliable".

Luckily my chef partner has BE. He's going to make the schematics from my resources, and I'll run them in my factories. After all, he has his own tissues to make and use

I am a Master BE on the Kauri server and would be willing to make schematics for Chefs if they provide the resources... The tissues keep me pretty busy gathering resources so it would be a lot quicker if the Chef gathered the resources for the additives and then for a small fee (say 5k or so) I make the schematic for 1000 units and they run it off as needed. Once the patch goes live send a message to Chabo on Kauri and we can work something out

As a MBE; I am very concern with the prices many chefs want to buy BE supplements for. If you notice the amount of ingredients:

Carbocaloric Eliminator - mass - 35 Fruit, 40 Domesticated Meat, 45 Wild Meat
Edible Nano Constructors - replicating - 25 Vegetables, 40 Cereal, 30 Wild Meat
Intelligent Nanonutrients - nutritional - 55 Organic, 35 Flora, 20 Creature
Multisaccharide Pentamate - flavor - 35 Berries, 40 Milk, 45 Flora Food

These ingredients are very difficult to obtain, as many chefs know and understand. But the problem I have found from many chefs; they are not willing to pay 200cr-2000cr for a single additive.

Many BE are watching chef sell end-product 200K+ for a single crate ( fishak ), when they sell their supplements for mire pennies. The end-product BE create for consumers is pet stims and BE pets, which the market for both has bottomed out since the last patch, when CH was nerfed.

Simply, if BE cannot charge a sustainable price for medium – high end supplements, many chefs will scratch any additives from their ingredients list.

from a BE's perspective, I don't think price is a concern at all. We're going to get a sale either way, it's just a matter of who gets it. With tailors and chefs both needing bio tissues, and in both cases the ingredients are very similar, so whoever sees more value in it, will get it.

However, that's not really the problem. The problem is availability. People can offer me a million credits a create, and order 100 crates, but that doesn't mean I can deliver it. Not by a long shot. Its fine for a tailor to get one or two crates of tissues a week, that's all they need generally. But I think that doesn't really do a chef a whole lot of good, and the meat supply is not going to suddenly get larger just because there is more demand. Hunters are already getting pretty much whatever they ask for good meat. They are selling avian meat to doctors for upwards of 50cr/u. It's only going to get worse. I'm afraid that the chef additives are going to be nothing more then a "novelty item" for chefs. Something you make for your closest friends, but little else, because you're just not going to be able to find BE's that can crank out crate after crate of bio tissues. Not gonna happen.

You state: “The problem is availability”.

You know as well as I do, being a MBE yourself, which items to focus on for the highest profit margin. I agree, BE will not put the time and effort into chef products to make their products available to Chefs. Pets stims, as weak as the market is now, is much better than selling food supplements for 100cr per a single supplement, while BE could be making 2500cr per pet stim B. Clothing tisses generally sell between 3000cr-5000cr. If the market demands are higher than 3-5K per food supplment, then the market for food supplments will be flooded with many BE products.
