Hey all,
Customer Support is setting up a FAQ about the new chef foods. What kind of questions would you like to see answered?

Do food, drinks, doctor enhancements, performance enhancements, and spices stack?
YES
How much food and drink can I have?
It depends on the filling on the food. You can have a total of 100 food filling and 100 drink filling at any time.
Do skill buffs stack?
Same skill buffs do not stack, for example having two foods that enhance your terrain negotiation. But you can have a food that enhances your terrain negotiation and another that enhances your unarmed damage, provided it does not exceed your fill limit.
What is the easiest way to master Chef?
Check the chef forums. The correspondent and chef players have stickies at the top that can answer these questions for you.

Do foods have downer effects like spice?
What foods can I feed my pet when it's hungry?
I have the schematic for a food but it isn't listed in my food options
- Need to have a specialized food crafitng tool
- May need to be next to a Food crafting station
- Food & Drink are broken up into different areas on the crafting tool.
Can BE additives be added to all foods and drinks?
Where are the chef forums?
(is it necessary to address pre/post patch issues? Like "will my pre=patch food still work?" "will my crates unpack as normal" and so on?)

I never pay any attention to buffs less than plus 300, why am I making a mistake? (actually had someone tell me that once because they didn't realize food stacks and thats my biggest concern over the new foods is that people may not realize the potential of it when they don't see the big numbers due to not figuring out the stacking potential)

This stuff should be included. Others have answered it better than I could elsewhere in the forum already so I'll just list questions. =)
What is different about food and drink experimentation in the revamp?
.. Will the quality of my resources still effect the final product?
.. Will different statistics of materialsbeimportant now?
.. What will I be able to experiment on?
Am I really going to need to depend on other classes to make basic foods after the revamp?
How will the new stomach work? (Point out that there are two bars, I still get people freaking out that there won't be.)
Can wookiees wear chef clothes? (hee)

Why do Bioengineered foods/drinks cost more than normal foods?
Why do drinks made in a barral or cask cost more than those made in glasses?
Is Fishak really gone? What am I going to use for mind buffs?
Why is a lower buff to all 3 mind stats better than a higher buff to just my mind?
Why does my old prepatch food have so long of downtime between buffs?

"Customer Support is setting up a FAQ about the new chef foods. What kind of questions would you like to see answered?"
I'd say it's for the general knowledge FAQ. So simple hings like "You don't have to eat food but it can really help" are the go. Food can now enhance nearly everything a profession can offer. You want more mask scent points? You got it. Just drink Jawa Beer. You want more XP points? Just eat Ormachek. And so on.
I could be wrong and this could be to DEVs with questions we want answered (in depth).. heheh

heres a few...mostly regarding existing foods:
1) pre-patch I could take fishak constantly for a continuous mind buff...will pre-patch fishak still be able to do this?
2) I know some people were saying "nerf the chefs" but I never thought anyone would actually do it, why does this patch nerf chef food? (linked to questions about having to use multiple uses, and lower buff numbers for each use in general)
3) why do tailors and now chefs have to rely on BE's to make anything good now?
thats all I could think of that people might be asking...

Is this intended to be questions new players would be asking (which we provide answers to) or questions we want answered by Devs/CSRs?
If it's the second, here's my submissions:
1) BE clothing tissues and skill attachments have a total cap of +25, does food allow the eater to go above this? So if someone already has a +25 dodge clothing tape, will they see any effect from Air Cake, Pikkata Pie, or Denellian Fizz? (although with Fizz showing a +30-45 range, I would assume the answer to this is yes, but it may be handy to get confirmation on whether that will stack with an existing +25 bonus).
2) What effect do skill buffs have when your characterhas not learned that skill? DoesChandad's +Survey allow people without Novice Artisan to use survey tools? (my guess is no sinceusing the toolrequires having learned the /survey command). Does a +Terrain Negotiation allow a non-scout to go up hills faster? (my guess is yes since this is a passive skill that doesn't require a command). Does +camoflauge have any effect on non-rangers, or rangers not using a camo pack? (which ties into my continued confusion about the Bothan's racial +15 camo bonus).
3) Is the 60m timer on triggered effects (next X attacks, next incap) intended or a bug? What are the chances the timerwill get increased/removed? (lasting until logout may be too powerful, but could we get at least 2-3hours?)
4) Is the number next to incap recovery in Starshine Surprise and Cavaellian Creams a percentage of the incap time, or in seconds? And what happens if this is above 100% or the time remaining when you get incapped?
