Chef Archive

Hey Guys,

I'm really excited about all the new changes that have taken place in the Chef profession, however for some reason for the last hour, only 160XP has shown up on my XP meter and i have constructed about different 50 items. I had no problems advancing through Artisan and have relogged/accomplished a Full Scan and any other things I could think of. Has anyone else noticed that their XP meter has failed to work correctly and if so, what corrective action did you take. Thanks in advance,

Well, it could be a couple of things. There is a bug where earned xp doesn't get added to the experience meter or the character, but logging out for a few minutes usually straightens that out, giving you all the xp you should've gotten. The other thing is that chef xp is only earned by crafting things from the Chef tree. If you make foods from Domestic Arts (bofa treats, Teltier noodles, etc) you're going to get General Crafting xp. Finally, all containers seem to give General Crafting xp, even the cask and barrel, which are in Chef.

When I had this problem on Testcenter, I had to remain logged out for 5-10 minutes before the xp showed up on login.

Yeah you know how SOE can be. Im a living example of the new group of Super lags that lags for no damn reason. Same thing happend to me I had to just get on a shuttleport and fly somewhere else it will fix it.

Same thing has happened to me i sent for a csr a day ago but still have not gotten a response(surprise surprise). When I logged off and logged back on it fixed it. The funny thing was is that i trained in entres 1 and it did not take any exp away from me. According to my skill menu I still had enough exp to train in all of the first tier skills. unfortunately it was just lag exp error. Still that would have been a nice bug.

relog and you'll receive all the xp you thought u were getting

i was using a crafting macro for about 10 minutes and all of a sudden noticed my bar hadn't moved at all, i relogged and it jumped way up
