Okay made my first batch, and it's +368, 44min, 9 use, 50 filling.

I used a crate of BE tissiue, nutrient, which cost me 25k for a crate of 25.

I'm trying to figure out a good price range on this. I know there's stuff out there way better (I've seen a +407, 49 filling, 44min, 21 use for 3-3.2k). Of course I don't think I can sell it for 3k, or is that REALLY cheap?

Should I sell mine for like 2k each?

Ask your customers, dont ask us.
Different server behaves differently

Well since this is my first batch would be nice to at least get a feel for a price range...

For example, how much would you be willing to sell it on your server?

Hey ..

Personally I make brandy which is almost the same as that but without the BE enhancer so the stats are only at +200.. I sell it for about 2,500c a bottle. I would sell yours for 5,000c a bottle. I think that is going to be my pricing standard really.. Anything I make with a BE enhancer is going to be x2 my normal price. You shouldn't sell it for 2k because 1k of that is your BE enhancer and about 500c is the resources you used up to make the brandy, that leaves you with 500c per bottle profit (roughly).. Not much for the time and effort really.

I'm a new Chef though and those may be high prices but I have sold a couple of bottles at that price, at the end of the day that's what I'm selling it for and people will buy it eventually.. Either that or they can complain about 2,500c / 5000c which in my opinion is a little weak considering some peoples bank balances and the ability to run a couple (or one) destroy mission to cover the cost of a bottle.

The sales of my +200 Brandy beg to differ...

But I know what your trying to say.. If it's not the absolute best some people wont buy it.. However those are the people I don't want in my shop after reading some of the "Annoying customer" threads, so I guess it's a good thing... I don't want people comlaining that my Brandy isX points lower thanMr.Chef on planet Y who sells his better brandy for Z credits lower than me and therefore I should cut my prices by 50%..

On Chimaera that brandy would sell for an easy 125K+/crate. Different servers, different economies I guess. The top brandy here sells for about 225K+/crate.

I've paid 10K for 1 cask of +390/50min/21use/49fill before. Depends on what you need it for

Average prices I would guess is 175k-250k for +400ish 18-21 use brandy.

Yours is less than half the uses and slightly lower buff. So 100k maybe? I would really recommend casks over large glasses for your next batch. For 100 more crap resources you more than double the quantity. All you need is a wearables factory and you should be able to find a tailor on your server that stocks trim if you don't have formal wear 1.

IMO its the quantity that hurts your prices more than the buff. You can always sell cheaper with a lower buff, but at that quantity people will expect to pay at least 50% less right off the bat.

Hey Pokko - prices for brandy are discussed here very regularly and you can find some good info on prices by doing a search for "brandy".

The best way to find out a good price for your server though is to visit the other chef's vendors on your server -- things vary so widely that you can't really go on what we say here.

For instance, on my server (Tarquinas) the average going rate for ubar brandy 400+ 42m+ 18-use per stackseems to be150k for a crate.

But if it's going for 250k on your server you'd be foolish to charge what we do! And if it's only say 100k on your server you'd be pricing yourself out of business - that's why i recommend checking the chefs on your server first. And with potential customers too -- if they're friends and trustworthy they'll tell you flat out what they pay for brandy, and what stats they want. That kind of advice is invaluable.

Hope this helps and good luck!

well on flurry, i just dumped a bunch of my experiments on the bazaar for 3k, like 380 40mins 9 use. I mean they varied from 409 35min to 370 45min but they all went really fast. Sold 4 of them in about 2 hours.

You to get better resources, Bio additives, and use casks instead of the large containers you are using that way you can get your brandy +400 21use 40min 50 filling

"Considering it's not even > +400, no one will even want to buy them"

Back when I was a novice drunk, I thought like that. Now as an experienced lush, a mid to high 300's/near 45 minute stuff, is much more appealing to me than the 400 36:00 stuff I initially bought.

As for pricing? Obviously not 500c+ per swig of the uber 400+/45m stuff. Try around 200 per swig, or 2000c for the 9 drink product. See how it sells. I've bought stuff of that quality at that price before.
