Thread: Smuggler's Delight Question
I ask him what was the stats on the Smuggler's Delight allowing him to do that, and he reported them back to me as 15 fill 96% reduction.
The lowest fill Smuggler's Delight I could make was 21 fill with 91% reduction. Trying to take multiple spice with this I only got the "You are already under the influence of a spice" message.
So my queston is.. was this guy full of it? Even if I was able to make 15 fill 96% smugglers delight would it be able to take multiple spices at the same time?

Is this still the case? I just made a few crates of 100%, 24 fill, 1 use...

The best Smugglers Delight that can be made is 99% reduction. This is what I make, and I have found that there is a market for it, since there is basically a 2 second delay between the time you can take another spice. The problem is exactly what Kriles said: Price. Milk is not hard to get, but it takes time. And the Intelligent Nanonutrients needed are not cheap.
If you are a Master Chef and a Master BE, AND you have guildies who can bring you good meat and a good deal of milk, then you can make this fairly cheaply. If you dont have Master BE, then the cost to produce this stuff will be prohibitive when it comes to selling it for a decent markup.
Everything else was already very well put by Kriles. Just remember, 99% is the cap. Do not produce anything better than that because it WILL NOT work. 100% and higher SD is bugged at the moment.

Well, the last time I tested (which granted was a few months ago), using SD with reduction > 100% gave the "no longer on downer" message (or whatever the text is) immediately after the spice wore off, but my stats were still reduced. I don't remember if I could take another dose of spice (you usually can't during the downer period).
Anyone checked this out recently? It definitely hasn't been included in any patch notes, but not every fix makes it into those.
I've really got to schedule some time to collect up a list of bugged foods. Look for it in the next day or two...

Hmm I'll try and test some tonight if I get a chance.
