How do you get the best results, the most amazings, when experimenting?

Tips::::
- Getting +experimentation clothing enhancements helps (to a +25 max)
- Being in a research city
- Bespin Port affects your amazing successes (unsure if it stacks with research city though)
- Force Experimentation
These are the four factors that you can control that affect the rate at which you get amazing successes.
A method that I use, since chef materials do not have as tremendous value as say, compiling a PA hall or something, create the item, experiment on it and if you do not get an amazing success discard it. Continue this until you get an amazing success, then pop a bespin port and spend your remaining points for an amazing success.

Acouple more factors you have some control over:
- Effectiveness rating of crafting tool (max +15) and crafting station (max +45). These do have some effect, but it's little unclear just how much.
- How many points you experiment at a time. The more points you spend, the larger risk of a failure you have. On the other hand, if you do get an amazing success, the benefits are larger with more points spent.
Another thing to look at is your experimentation cap due to resource stats. A great success adds +7 to the experimental percentage for each point you spent in that category. If you're at 80% in Nutrition and it caps out at 81%, that experimentation point would probably be better spent in a different category. I hardly ever max out a category, unless I'm aiming for some specific stat that requires that extra couple of percentage points (+25 Bivoli, 50 fill vercupti, etc).

ah very true, however I have been hearing that the crafting station and tool bonuses do not work... too lazy and too laggy to do mass tests hehe

Lo all.
I just mastered Chef on saturday and so far i've spend like an hour doing my first experimentations. I didn't try it on a city with a research bonus or with Bespin Port and i only used my exp Master Chef points, so no tapes so far (waiting to complete the suit) i tryed on Bivoli and the best i could made was +22 for 16m.
There's some factors here that i dont understand yet. What is the stat that i need to add more points to inscrease the +22 i get? Nutricion? I was using a good meat and vegetables too. In my opinion i think i can't hit higher than +22 cos i need the exp tapes and Bespin and all.
I used +116 Int nanonut
But was this good for a Bivoli first run?
Another thing that i did was using all the exp points, so is this necessary too?
Thanks

I'd be interest to know about this aswell, cos on our server atm there is some 900+ OQ/PE fungi that would get you +24-25 bivoli. Also we had a great spawn of rancor carn meat and there were litterly millions of the stuff harvested so i'm sure you'll be able to some.

Lemsi:
Ok, here's how it breaks down:
The buff size is determined by experimentation in the Nutrtion category. The buff duration is determined by experimentation in the Flavor category. Filling and Quantity are pretty self-evident.
Nutrition experimentation depends only on the PE and OQ of the resources you use. It's also weighted more towards PE, so high PE gets you better results than high OQ.
You can hit +24 or +25 Bivoli as a 10 point chef, although you probably won't be able to get +25/3 use. That is assuming that the resources allow experimentation that high. I recently made some +25/3 use Bivoli as a 10 point chef. However, It did take using 917PE / 985 OQ / 783 DR meat and 935PE / 994OQ / 909 DR vegetables, and getting an 8 point amazing success in Nutrition.
When you're experimenting, if you get anything other than a great or amazing success, junk the item. The difference between a great success and a "good" success is pretty large. If you are having a hard time getting great success, try experimenting with fewer points at a time.

Hi mates.
Thanks for the tips
Ok it seems i was using crappy PE stuff, i dont have large quantitiesof good resources stocked cos i'm still gathering and since i was only experimenting i thought in using a less good resources.
This time i used Carnv meat with PE 9xx and Tubers PE8xx (i don't remember the other stats) and i was using Bespine Port. I was crafting with 2 good stations and i manage to get +23.9xxxxx i know it's not good enough but the thing is i've tryed many times and i never reached a amazing sucess
But i can tell that i'm happy and enjoying this. But i'm out of BE tissues and it seems they are quite hard to find in my server
Thank you all again

Cheers!
How high were the BE components you were using? They have a profound effect on your final product
