you could also target the crafting station and do a /open

I have a Food and Chemical Crafting Station that I need to move. When I try to pick it up it says that there is something inside it and will not let me. I do not see any thing on the radial dial about removeing items. Does anyone know how I can remove the item from the Crafting Station so I can move it?

You need to use a Food & Chemical crafting tool from your inventory, select the tool while near your crafting stationand hover a few seconds over the Start Crafting (or something like that) then another selection will pop up to access the station hopper. Remove those items and you can pick up your crafting station.

Or start crafting something and choose "Input Hopper" in the resource selection screen. then turn the filter of, and drag everything to your inventory.

I'm still not sure what real use the Input Hopper has, since it adds to the items in the house...
