I see a lot of comments on both sides of this issue. Does a brandy really need to be a 49 fill to stack or is that a myth. BTW, being only a 10 point chef (well, 10.5), I never waste an exp. point to bring the 50 fill (that I get by default with my current resources) down to 49. I'm not sure thatI've ever tried drinking two at the same time, as I don't do brandy that way. I drink, wait 5 min or so, then drink again. This way, I never end up in the situation where both brandies wear off at the same time.
I'm Interested in comments on this topic.
Thanks,
Trig

I've never had a problem drinking two shots of 50-fill brandy if my stomach is empty.
What does happen sometimes is that the stomach doesn't empty when expected (due to lag, macros, etc.) and then people can't drink 2 more brandies when they would think they should be able to based solely on the duration of the brandy.

49 fill brandy x 2 = 98% full. It wears off after approx 42 mins. I've never timed it but I know that if I watch out I can generally swallow two more before the 43 min timer on the brandy is up.
Someone once posted the exact formula for the time:1%stomach full ratio but I cannot find it. I think it was something like 25 or 27 seconds per 1% full.

I've found 49 filling brandy to be more popular, but I wouldn't suggest using an exp point in filling even if you're a 12 pt chef. Just make an effort to get higher DR berries and fruits if you want to lower your filling
Either way, 50 or 49 filling, the user can take 2 at the same time.

Something I have found is that filling may have a hidden decimal point occasionally. There have been occasional, although very rare instance where a particular run of 50 fill will not double stack. I have had it happen once before with Brandy, and once with Vercupti. I actually submitted a ticket for it, asking if the CSR's had any idea about this. They didnt. I still keep a few crates of those around as an oddity.....and because my curious nature doesnt want to destroy them until I figured out what caused it. I even still have the resources and schematics for them.
Perhaps they were just bugged. Not sure. Just figured I would share. For the most part, I stay with 50 fill. Going to 49 fill is a waste of a point. There is no real benefit to having fill at 49 instead of 50. Yes, you may be able to quad-stack brandy or vercupti for all of 3 minutes....but I mean come on.....who can plan a battle out just right so that they know 42 to 45 minutes from now they will be able to win because of that overlay? I PvPed nonstop for my first six months in the game, and things were never that cut and dry.
Then again, this is all just my personal opinion. In the end, do what your customers want. Thats all that matters. Its not about whether it makes sense to US....only whether it makes sense to our customers. After all, they pay the bills.
