Thread: Price check pls on the following Chef added garments

Hi,
I have the following items in my possesion, and would like confirmation as to their values. If possible could an experienced chef estinate their worth as individual items and then the 12 point set as an entire outfit.
1) Two Pocket Belt Food Experimentation 1 Sockets 2
2) Tusken Raider Boots Food Experimentation 3
3) Soft undershirt Food Experimentation 1 Sockets 3
4) Leather Gloves Food Experimentation 1 Sockets 3
5) Kitchen Master Hat Food Experimentation 1 Injury Treatment 7
6) Crafter Apron Food Ass. 5 Food Exp. 5 Artisan Assemply 1 Socket 1
Item 6 I have only ever seen the one hat of this calibre, but then I gave up looking ages ago.

Just so you know "12 point" means that a chef has 12 experimentation points to work with, not that he/she has +12 experimentation mods from clothing. You need at least +20 Food experimentation to get the 12th point, the outfit you laid out will only give 11 points.
The crafter apron tends to go for 100-400k, depending on server and the particular tailor. They're fairly simple to acquire (the schematic for them is a quest reward while doing Jabba's palace).
The Tusken boots may be a bit less desirable, since only male characters can wear Tusken gear.
Experimentation mods on clothing (either looted or from having skill tapes added) seem to go for 100-250k per +1 on most servers. High bonus items (+5 or above) can go for anywhere from 500k to 1million per +1, since these make it easier to get the full +20 in a single suit of clothes. +1 mods are generally only picked up one or two at a time to fill out the last few pluses a chef needs to hit +20, so I doubt anyone would buy those as a set.
The best way to really set a price would be to check out your galaxy's trade forums, and see what people have bid on similar items. Or just put them up for auction with a starting bid around 150k for each (a little lower for the apron) and see what you get.
