So, I am taking it that these two items are supposed to be great for crafters. However, why am I not noticing a difference in crafting when using them? I should at least be noticing an experimentation bonus, but I checked all the stats with and without the food when crafting armor and there was no change that I noticed. Plus, the food was only good for one crafted item. I thought I would have at least six minutes for one and 15 for the other. But after crafting the one item, the buff would disappear from my status.
Is it supposed to be this way or am i bugged? I hope the second, because otherwise what is the point? Thanks!

Nope you are fine (dont worry)
Bespin Port is used after one experimentation attempt and likewise Pyollian cake is used after one assembly attempt.
The durations of these foods is how much time you have to use it.
So the buff will vanish if you let the timer run out or use it.
With Bespin and Pyo cake your best bet is to max out the buff power and put everything else into filling.

Well that sucks then. I was hoping for something a little more powerful that would really increase my experimentation for armor condition. Oh well...guess I'm stuck making armor that is ok for a while until I can save up for some good tapes.
Thanks for the help.

If you are doing factory runs of armor then find a chef who makes 20 fill Bespin port.
Then get a entertainer buff (good joke right lol) and craft in a town that is a research center.
With all of the above you will have a great chance for amazing success.
The 20 fill bespin will give you five increased chances before your tummy is full.

The text I highlighted suggests you believe Bespin Port should allow you to experiment higher than you could before. This is an easy assumption to make, but is incorrect. What Bespin Port does is increase the chance of you getting an amazing success each time you click 'run experiment'. How high the stats can go is still determined by your resource quality. The only way to go higher is with a chef inspiration buff from a dancer, which will increase your resource quality by 2%. The same applies to the cake, but it gives you a better chance of an amazing success on the initial assembly.
