Chef Archive

after reading many of the posts and threads in this forum since the chef revamp was announced...the closer it gets to live, the more and more hostile the posters in this forum are becoming to each other.

personally I'd actually prefer things to stay as they are if it means that our chef community can go back to the way it was.

bashing the devs is one thing...but turning against each other is completely different.

I know its early on in the test center phase of foods...but with little/no direct dev involvement in our community forum...it simply doesn't inspire any confidence that this revamp is anything more than a "here chefs, now leave us alone, and we'll leave you alone" type of move.

theres also a huge influx of people/chefs who have never really contributed anything prior to just recently who seem to think they know everything, or can insult people who have done nothing but try their hardest to get us what we want/need...

its good to have more opinions/ideas around here, but if the end result of the chef revamp going to live close to what it is now...well I don't know about everyone else, but I'd rather have the fun, entertaining chef community more than a more diverse profession that relies heavily on 2 other professions.

and just as an afterthought...SirVimes, any chance we could have it so that we get to decide when/if the chef revamp goes to live?
