Thread: FAO Higginis: Questions to be put forward

I've been engaged in several disagreements with regard to the status of the Chef profession. Regardless of where you stand on this, we all know that there are several bugs that have never been addressed and some tweaks/additions that would be most welcome.
The questions I would like to ask are as follows:
1) There are sveral bugs that have yet to be addressed within our profession. Will these be addressed within the next few publishes?
2) Can we get clarification if Vegeparisine/Thundercloud/Pikatta Pie are all working as intended as there appears to be some debate on this and we would very much appreciate this being cleared up once and for all.
3) With new foods such as Luilris Pie available from quests, we have seen that these are becoming popular and by the demand shown, would become a very useful food to craft. Will this ever be craftable by either way of a loot drop (similiar to Mandalorian Wine) or will they be introduced into the repetoir of schematics we Chefs are already armed with?
4) In addition to Luilris Pie, is there any intention to introduce other new foods? Ideas being floated around seem to be with Force Regeneration and Profession specific foods.
5) Will Chefs have a quest similiar to RIS for Armoursmiths to help differentiate between part time players/crafters and those that are hardcore Chefs/Gamers?
6) Is there an intention to show actual numbers for Action and Mind as opposed to percentages to help players see that the foods that buff these properties are actually doing something?
7) Will timers of the Chef food in particular be looked at? Since the CU they have been shortened drastically and players ahve been unhappy at the difference between Artisan and Chef crafted food. That is not to say that Artisan Food should be nerfed as it is finally useful now, but Chef food should always be the more highly sought after and most useful of the two and should therefore not only give a better buff but also a longer buff.

To sum up, most of these i've had no word on, especially the quest related things. We get very little imput on these.
As for the stats on chef foods i've already put forward several suggestions, i've had no word.

Thanks for the reply. I am hoping that if we show enough support for all of these that we may get at least some!

I don't mean to be pesimistic, but we're a very long way from getting anything major, content or otherwise. The Devs have the stuff they are planning on queued, and its a case of waiting till its our turn.
I'll keep putting suggestions forward, but i wouldn't hold our breath, mainly as we're not really in that bad a shape.

I thought as much and I agree that we're not actually in that bad a shape but it would be nice for Chef to get some love.

Still holding my breath on the dev word Higgins hinted at. Here's hoping it comes next friday, cause I need sooomething to explain to my customers on how stuff is supposed to work.
