Thread: Does it not matter what the oq/pe is when making Rubly Bliel?

Well with the way Ruby is right now ("broken" so to speak) the only things that matter are filling & uses (and the uses not so much). So you want to focus on what stats affect those two things (I believe it's DR/OQ for filling and DR/something else for quantity).

Just a tip - be sure to include something about what Ruby really does in the title because otherwise you're basically lying to people who don't know any better. I'm honestly sick of getting tells from people wondering why their Ruby bought by other people doesn't do what it says it does.

Girov that's not a dumb question. I was going to ask that myself. I haven't been chef long but I'm pretty

sure filling is Flavor. You shouldn't have to worry about potential energy. But the OQ and FL should matter.

Sorry I don't know for sure. You can just mess around with it and find out.

LoL...why is anybody freaking out about me saying Ruby is "broken" in quotes? Do you not know what quotes mean? Ruby does NOT do what it says, and chefs mislead the public by not stating what it really does when they name it. That is ALL I said. Try reading instead of using something simple as an opportunity to get on your high horse.

Ok, kiddos, try to follow this:

*insert long-winded explanation here*

You guys just might nerf your own profession if you do. I don't mind if you nerf yourselves but you're in danger of nerfing ME and the other chefs who do understand Ruby Bliel, and that, I can't tolerate.

Understand?

*sigh*... You're gonna need a bigger horse if you plan on being this condescending.

So you would rather have the developers reprogram Ruby Bliel to where it shortens the stimpack timer to 30 seconds instead of nullifythe timer?

Your stuck in the anall-retentive stage of child development to the point you want everyfood to behave as the poorly-writtendescriptions sayit should? Even at the cost of your sales and other chefs' sales?

Think about it.

This is my take on Ruby Bliel:

Ruby Bliel is working as it should.

The description that says,"Stimpack Roundtime: 30" is misleading and could be referring to some programming jargon.

Ruby Bliel is not overpowering, nor is it "broken".

Ok, kiddos, try to follow this:

A combat character takes RubyBliel in combat when they need a quick heal from a Stimpack. Normally, it would take 60 seconds for someone to take a stimpack right after they took one. Ruby Bliel enables people to "stack" them right after another as long as they have stomach room. The lowest filling possible is desirablewhen craftingRuby Bliel; not nutritional value as this has no useful effect on it, whatsoever.

The time on the Ruby Bliel is just referring to how much time you have till you can begin taking two stim's back to back. This is similiar how Synthsteak worked before the CU. Players had an hour after they took Synthsteak to take damage and benefit from its damage mitigation. Understand?

My jedi has no healer so I depend on Ruby Bliel and Stimpack D's when I fight.

When she takes a lot of damage, I have Ruby Bliel in one button on the hot bar and Stimpack D's in another right next to it.

This enables me to hit them both at the same time so I can heal a lot of damage ina short period of time and survive encounters.

I have made 14 filling Ruby Bliel, so this enables me to "stack" in oh-sh!t moments, 7 Ruby Bliels with Stims.

The most important stats for making the best Ruby Bliel is OQ and DR.

Scylla spawned some fruits that were 980 OQ and 981 DR and I have some water that is 900-ish DR. I also got my grubby paws on some decent Domesticated Meat which enabled me to get my BE TissueFilling Bonus to 13.

I have some 14 filling Ruby Bliel but my latest runs of it are 13 which don't really make a difference as its still 7 Ruby Bliels but if it matters to the customer, I'll make them with a filling of 13.

I have heard chefs say that the stimpack timer should go to 30 seconds, because for 1) they are confused utterly by the "Stimpack Roundtime: 30" heading and, 2) don't realize if the dev's do have Ruby Bliel give a 30 second timer to Stims, they won't sellRuby Blielanymore.

So, please understand that the way Ruby Bliel works now, is the WAY you want it to work. It sells like hotcakes on my vendor and I hope it continues this way.

So, please, please, please, no complaining to the dev's or to the correspondentthat RubyBliel is"broken".

You guys just might nerf your own profession if you do. I don't mind if you nerf yourselves but you're in danger of nerfing ME and the other chefs who do understand Ruby Bliel, and that, I can't tolerate.

Hahaha, do you guys even realise you're arguing against each other - but you're both arguing for the same side??

Quit pretending to be a mind reader. I don't particularly care which way Ruby works however I DO want the wording to reflect what it does. God, you people and your holier-than-thou righteousness belong behind a pulpit not on the swg forums.

And no, can't say I'm really worried about sales much - what I don't like is newbs who don't know any better getting ripped off. That's it. I didn't say ANYTHING about them needing to change Ruby, no matter what words you want to stuff in my mouth. Go preach to someone who gives a damn about your crusade.

And yes, I meant that to come of as rude as it did because your blatant hostility at NOTHING is completely unwarranted.
