Heya folks I hope some of you experienced master chefs have some tips for me because its starting to get nasty ..

My plan was to opena shop as soon as I hit master chef but now its been a week or so and all Im able to sell is some crappy brandy (+390 for 42mins). Heres a little list what Id like to sell in my shop:

Correlian Brandy

+7-14 Defense vs. Knockdown

Bespin Port

Increased experiment success chances 3-12%

Pyollian Cake

+5-10 to assembly roll

Ormachek

Increase xp 3-5% (non-crafting)

Bivoli Tempari

+7.5-11.8 Wound Treatment

Vercupti of Agazza Boleruuee

+375-600 Health, Action, Mind

Basically my question is how in gods name am I supposed to survey for all that and find decent quality, if you buy your ressources how many cpu do you pay and maybe some of you can tell me some shops selling those.

PS: Im looking for experimentation and assembly tapes, maybe one of you could help out somehow ... I should be able to afford it.

You have basically picked out 6 foods that have almost no overlap in resources. There is no magical way to get all the resources at once. You pick a few foods and do those. If you see some other foods that use the same resources then make those as well. With 10 lots, you obviously aren't going to be able to make all those in a week unless you only harvest what you need for 1 run or buy the resources.

Get rid of Corellian Brandy. It is next to useless because of Thaktillo. Much bigger buff and it is a food. If you really want to sell Corellian Brandy go ahead, but I will bet you would sell a lot more Thaktillo.

Start out small. 4-6 is fine, but you might need to start off with bigger sellers. Port is probably ok. I can't say I've sold a lot of Assembly food though.V. Brandy and Canepe I would also add to the list. The others on your list I think are good. Sythsteak might be a good one to add. If you are having problems just getting money to run harvestors. Make a few crates of brandy and sell crates of 5-6 on the bazaar for 750-1.5k each(other foods will work as well). Obviously it is more work for you but you may stay around enough to get all the foods you want to make.

I've run into the same problem basically, it's a bit hard for new chefs to get established as it's impossible to find people who sells fruits from previous shifts. For example, dolovite iron, a recent shift was 1000 oq (I know cause I have a ton of it ) and people hoarded it like mad, but as for fruits and veggies, no one ever does hardly except the chefs who are actually using it - and they aren't selling.

The only quality resource worth harvesting on starsider right now is the endorian fruit, and it's only 1 ingredient on a huge list of stuff I need...can't even make brandy right now (only cruddy berries available sigh)

While I was working on becoming Master Chef, I was harvesting the whole, whatever the best flora was that was spawned. Probably not helpful for you now, but I guess the point is that it just takes time. I think it will be a little while before it becomes more widely known what resources Chefs need and the harvesters start to market to us. You can always find Dantooine berry fruit, Tat Fiberplast, blah, blah, blah, because everyone knows that Docs need that stuff.

BTW, you're brandy is not bad. I'm sure it would sell. Just keep an eye on swgcraft.com and you'll find some good spawns.

www.swgcraft.com is a godsend to any crafter that needs to keep an eye on good resources - at least, if you are on a server that is somewhat up to date.

Anyone can update - it's a free site. If your server ISN'T kept up to date you might want to consider helping out yourself - get your friends involved. Knowing what's available is the first step and can save HOURS in the process of knowing where to start. If done regularly - an entire check ofa planet takes less than 5 min a day to keepa planet's list current on machine harvestable resources.

If you have the credits, maybe you can buy me out I've been thinking about using my alt (the chef) as a combat character since I've been crafting for months and need a change.

Anyways, I have +20 experimentation, +25 assembly, loads of resources, ALOT of premade medium and light food additives, alcohol, casks, trim.
