Greetings all,
Am going into the chef business in the Ahazi server and I have a few questions I would appreciate answered, if you can.
I will be going through the chef's forums in detail but I would like to know....
1) For Vasarian Brandy, does alcohol come with any stats? and if so, what are the essential stats I need to keep an eye open for?
2) What is needed to make casks, large glasses... etc.? Does Resource stats make a diff?
3) Finally (for now) any particular thread I shld look at? Besides the ones that are at the top of the board.
Thanks to one and all, I hope to participate here in greater frequency
Aloooooha!

1) Nope. Alcohol is alcohol. You can't experiment them, so use the junkiest cereal you can find.
2) Barrels are broken, so don't bother. Small glasses take 10 gems, large glasses take 100 gems, casks take 150 crystalline gems and 2 identical trim; trim is made by a tailor and takes 20 fiberplast and 5 inert petro. You can't experiment on any of those things, so no - resource quality doesn't make a lick of difference on any components, dough, carbosyrup, bantha butter, and so on. That goes for the additive combine too - the quality of water you combine with a BE tissue is irrelevant, all that matters is the BE tissue. And (hehe) that goes for veghash when used as a component for vegeparsine, and pastebread when used as a component in cavaellin creams.
3) The stickied threads are your best bet, but I'd peek in any thread from Sciguy or Sir Vimes too. I'd also consider lurking around your server's trade board to see what people are selling/buying chef-wise, and drop in on the BE boards every once in awhile.

/thank
Appreciate the tips CJadefire. That makes my search for ingredients SO MUCH less complicated. For a while I was donering how the chefs manage to find all the required (hi-stat) ingredients for the various components. Now to climb the ladder and get me some stuff! ![]()
