Everyone talks about what they've made and all, yet why not do the opposite?

Will Never Make

Terratta (mask scent has been reported to work better that camo)

Jaar (wookiee specific and needs milk)

T'illa T'ill (too many rare resources for such a limited use drink)

Will Never Make Again

Deneelian Fizz Pudding (1m duration? 60 filling? uses milk?ahh!)

Ruby Bliel (doesn't work)

Flameout (synthsteak/exo-protein will always take priority)

Starshine Surprise / Cavaellian Creames (I notice no difference when I tested it out serveral times)

Haven't Made Yet

Corellian Ale (need that corellian dom. wheat)

Caf (soon)

Jawa Beer (soon)

Spiced Tea (soon)

Kanali Wafers (soon)

Karkan Rinenes (soon)

Teltier Noodles (soon)

K-18 Rations (soon)

Gruuvan Shall (soon)

Bofa Treat (soon)

Blob Candy (soon)

--by soon I mean I have the schematics for the additives ready to go

Ok I do a little of everything and I did make at least one of each drink/food (except for the drink that require specific gaz or is it chemical? anyway). Oh and I tend to do way less drink then the rest (because most of my clients use Vasarian they got no drink stomach left for anything).

What I do not do in factory:

Exo prot wafer (Synthsteak is better but this may change if clients start noticing the filling of the wafer)

Flameout (Too much trouble and imho not better then synthsteak)

Dustcrepe (Not a big seller, DOT time reduction when you GET DOTs...)

Deuterium Pyro (Def VS intimidate? Come on)

Durinfire, Ithorian Mist, Veronian Berry wine, Blood Chowder (Def VS one thing each, notice the Df vs KD are not in this list )

Trimpian (Defense VS, of all things, fire... Maybe If I get a contract for a PVP player...)

Travel Biscuit (Bonus terrain negotiation, well, with bikes now...)

Dweezl (Bonus for traps, sold maybe 1 or 2, hand made, since the Chef patch...)

Ruby, Havla, Starchine, Cavaellian Creams, Gorrnar (Heal recov, incap recov, wound red when cloning... Really I would not buy those so...)

I don't have many entertainer clients so

Carmelized Pkneb, Correlian Ale and T'ssolok I don't do

Jaar and Karkan (race specific... I always have one or two hand made in stock but I sure wont run a factory of it)

K-18 rations and Parwan (Well, since the post about parwan I might just do a run of it for the kick)

T'illa T'ill (This looks like a joke, aids digestion but takes 90 in filling....)

Smugglers Delight (Come now, if you know the foods to the point of using this then your probably not using spice anymore)

Bofa Treat, Kanali Wafer, Blob candy, Teltier noodle, Spiced tea, Caf (Too low bonus to really be attractive, good for novice chef I guess)

Felbar (Ok, i don't know many clients that would pay to raise their creatures Mind...)

I am rather surprised to say that's about it, the rest I do make factory runs of... Geez I make more type of foods then those I don't...

All the artisan foods fall under the category that I will never make again. I just don't have the skill points available, and when I did, I can't say I sold a whole lot of them.

C. Creams I have 20 crates and I will have those until the next time they expire on my vendor at which time I will delete them. I may have sold 1 crate in 3-4 weeks.

I have yet to make any pet food and I don't know if I will. I may do a run of the health pet food, but I'd really like something for the regen stats on pets. That stuff would sell like brandy.

Only ones I have left to make are BE versions of certain foods. Air Cake is one, a few of the other defensive foods. Factories are always busy with the stat foods though so I haven't had the time.

There is alot I haven't made yet but there some I have recently made and are a big hit if/when you get people to try them.

Havla. docs seem to love it if you get the time over 100 and 24 buffs

Ahrisa. people belive it is a bad buy since I have only made it with 3 uses but they came back for more when then figured out that they do not use half as much Canape.

Parwan Nutricake. Two burst run in a row and you are guarantied to catch that cowardly rifleman

Pikatta Pie. Not a new food I have made but people get confused by the dodge modifier. I am selling alot more since I am beginning to tell people that it can be used by all professions.

One food i wont make again is Flameout way to much ingredients and to be really useful you need a heavy filling reducer additive and I havent found a BE who is willing to use 85 good meat for that when they can make 4 INN with the same amount of meat.

Wow.. Cavaellian Creames

I sell probably 2-4 cases a week. Now I NEVER thought Cavaellian Creams would sell. I made 2 cases at first just to put them on my vendor so people would see I had a variety of the new foods.

Darn it if someone didnt buy it. I put two more on... I sold it that week also. I mean sales are NOT stellar but 2-4 cases a week make it worth my while to make.

Flame out does have limited uses but I still sell 1 - 2 cases a week.

I make all the artisan foods and they sell...well not gerat but not bad..I sell maybe 10 cases a week at 15k a crate.

Spiced tea sells the best.

Ti'lla T'lla I dont make....

Ormacheck I used to not make till I got bugged enough time. Now despite my protests that its not worth it.. I sell 1-2 cases a week.

Fizz Pudding isnt worth it. I use my milk on Pikattaka Pie and Smugglers Delight. Once in a blue moon I throw a case on my vendor and it gets bought pretty quick.

I am really amazed .. every time I say, "I will not make it cause its just not worth it" I end up making a case or two just to say I have....and sure enough they do sell. Sometimes not great (Jaar for example...but they do sell).

I always ask my BE that if they find absolute Junk meat to go ahead and use it in Light Enhancers. Sometimes the make me 35 Enhancers (yes it can get that bad), but I only pay 10k for them. I throw them in a crate of artisan food and it makes the 55 Kanali Wafers.. 71 Kanali wafers.

They sell very well when I am able to do this.

I've made T'lla T'ill. It would be a good drink, except for that fact it is a drink. If it was food that cleared the drink bar, it would be a huge seller.

My wookie doesn't even use his roar let alone needing something that makes it more powerful. I've made jawa beer and use it for DNA sampling. Not a big seller, not making it anymore.

Thakillito I made a ton of and it isn't selling. Too costly for too limited of a use.

Hmm, a number of those being dismissed surprise me. I think perhaps you are forgetting PvP usage. If you are talking about a fast and furious fight, Flameout wins hands down over Synthsteak. I need to resist it all, now, not 35% for 30 hits ...

Items I don't bother to make are Ti'lla T'll and Ormachek.

Entertainers love my Accarragm and Kiwik Swirls. Few entertainers know about this stuff. It's awesome for those times they can't get action buffs from a doc.

Trim is a lower level schematic in the tailor tree.

Yep...you need to find a tailor to make a bunch for you. Hopefully, you have a friend who is a tailor, and will do it for nothing. If not it will cost you. I'm fortunate in that my character is master tailor/master chef. If you are on Lowca I will make some for you.

I've made it all to see what would sell, even t'illa t'ill in singles, which shocked the hell out of me by selling immediately. Haven't gotten up the guts to try crates of it yet.

I don't bother anymore with making crates of BOH, thundercloud, fizz pudding, gralinyn, vayerbok, trimpian, chowder, dweezel, all of the entertainer drinks, the medic stuff except bivoli, the racial stuff, and the anti-state drinks except kd/dizzy. I also skip artisan-level drinks and foods with the exception of air cake, and frankly even air cake sells poorly (I just use it constantly personally so I stock it) - although I will say that the artisan state-foods don't do badly in singles (for people trying to squeeze on armor). Pet food sells shockingly slowly. I was pricing crates of most of that at 5k a box just to clean it off the vendor. Some of them I just had to delete, gotta get the brandy on page one, or the dingdongs who don't know to click to page two start spamming "ur outta brandy!!!"

All it does is make me realize we didn't really change that much from pre-patch to post-patch. We still have half of our goods in demand, and the other half are a joke. The revamp really was a boost to BEs not to us.

Commenting on other stuff in this thread... I've had great luck with smuggler's (BE and non-BE), in fact I sold out of the non-BE yesterday and have another run going. Spice isn't dead on Kettemoor, I guess! Ithorian Mist still sells well for me - BE and non BE. Flameout is slower, but those customers (pvpers) who buy it rave about it. Cavaellin was another surprise seller, about the same rate as Flameout (not great, but enough to make me keep a crate or two on the crate vendor).
