If that patch woulda stayed I might have been able to get brandy to last an hour lol.

Nevertheless, I've got a few silly lil' schematics to have fun with.

What about you guys? Anything cool from yesterday?

I was making +25.37 Bivoli before I'm still in two minds whether to start actively selling it or keep hold of it for myself to use. hehe.

25.92 Bivoli. I was making 53m30s brandy before patch, didn't bother to test duration brandy during ysterday, I'd say I can get 1hr now as I use 1000 stat resources but I like to have some buff (i.e +372 53m30s) so people just don't see a 'low buff' and disregard the duration. heh

I've gotten the brandy to 60 mins too.

Buff number was rock bottom, though. I'd much prefer to go for a balance.=/

This was on a One day thing, when the Dev' changed crafting and Experimentation was able to get very high. It was changed the following day.

Well, all those posts were referring to the one-day "crafting revamp", where an amazing success let you "push" the max percentage above what you could normally get with the resources used. So if your fruit/berries would normally max out at 85%, an amazing success after spending six points would bump the maxup to 93%. That one day also saw a few +45 crafting stations, a bunch of +15 crafting tools, and I heard rumors of a few +14 heavy harvesters.

That feature got taken out (along with the percentage gain being related to resource quality) the day after the publish went Live.

The system they actually patched in is the "real" crafting system. If you noticed that using a -10 crafting tool is the same as a +15 one currently and offers no benefit, likewise same with -10 and +45 crafting stations. Also as mentioned above the resources should also effect the experimentation. The system was designed to allow crafting to reward the use of high quality recources and tools to make a better finished product. In therory this would mean heavy harvesters with higher BER's, weapons & armor with higher stats and the same with any other crafted item.

As demonstrated by the introduction of the system, it needs a revamp as the devs were obviously not satisfied with how it was working. I think we will see it back, or at least a revamp of it introduced in the near future after they get the jedi stuff out of the way.

that is not true. i notice a much higher rate of amazing success using +14 tools and +43 stations. the devs have even stated that this function is working properly. it may not be a huge difference, but it was enough for me to constantly make the best food on my server because i averaged 3 amazings even when not in a research center.
