I was wondering what everyone thought would sell better. I made two Pyro schems, one with the stats +222 RA, 17 Fill, 43 duration. The other is +190 RA, 15 fill, 49 duration. THe second one lasts longer and has a slightly lower filling but the first one is great as far as the modifying attribute. I am not sure what people would prefer and would like to get other chef's opinions on this. Thanks

I would get it over 200 at least for marketing, it just looks better... I wouldn't bother with the filling, it's not worth the points on this one... I'd say get it over 200 accuracy then put the rest into duration.

According to the stickied post in the Chef's forum, Deuterium-Pyro can be made out to be +175 ranged accuracy, fill 16, duration 55 seconds.
Now, apparently this is with all exp poits into the stat, then the duration, then the fill.
I was wondering what Deuterium-Pyro could turn out like if the exp points were used differently. Is there some sort of program/calculator/website that might be able to help with this, or could you, the Chef community, tell me how low you can get the filling and how high you can get the duration, and what the increase in ranged accuracy would be at those points.
(Specifically I'd like to know first how long the duration could get and what the fill and accuracy would be at that point, but I'd also like to specifically know how long the duration would be and how big the increase in accuracy would be with a filling of 10, if that's possible).

I make mine with 16 fill (starts that way with my resources), and around 205 accuracy for about 1 minute... I think I can hit over 200 and 1 minute duration with a couple amazing successes... This is the same as corellian ale, except ranged instead of melee... With corellian ale I tried using a flavor additive and the most I could get duration to was 1m 30s... with the accuracy around 115-120. At first I figured these drinks were bugged but I'm sure they don't want people walking around with +200 accuracy for an extended period of time so I'm sure the short duration is intended.

What was the filling on those 1.5 minute duration ones?
For the record, I'm asking this because the +40 accuracy food isn't enough for me, but +200 is more then enough, so I'm looking to lower the accuracy closer to 100 and increase the duration and lower the filling so I can have the enhancement for longer.

There is such a food calc, it can be found in the Chef Tools catagory in the FAQ sticky I think. Using it, I ran some data through it with 1000 DR, 1000 FL, 1000 OQ, 900 PE resources and here were the results. I also used out a maxed out light flavor additive to give it more duration. Here are the results with 10 poins amazing in duration, and 2 points amazing on nutrition.
15 fill, 91 seconds, +110 accuracy, qty 21
The food calc isn't 100% correct however, but it comes within 5-10% margin of error roughly. Now using some more realistic numbers, (900 all stats, 25% flavor increase)
15 fill, 83 seconds, +110 accuracy, qty 21
(Making flavor additives using good quality milk, so this product would cost a lot more compared to the nutrition modified drink)
Now, putting the ponts into nutrition, the common way this product is made, using the same resource stats and a 55 MSN, 10 points amazing nutrition, 2 points amazing duration
15 fill, 49 seconds, +211 accuracy, qty 21
Here are the numbers on the filling experiment. 900 resource numbers, 15% filling decrease, 10 points amazing filling, 2 points amazing nutrition
9 fill, 43 seconds, +110 accuracy, qty 21
(Making filling additives uses great quality domesticated and wild meat, I wouldn't price this lower than 200-300k a crate, very expensive and difficult to aquire those resources unless you have rangers who can help you gather these things).
I can see why many chefs make it with the higher accuracy, as higher numbers generally sell better. But if I ever get my hands on some good ingrediants for this, I would be inclined to at least make 10 crates with the higher duration, as I think sustained dmg over time would be more beneficial than double the accuracy.
Hope that helped, and remember, this is just sample data from a tool that isn't 100% accurate, but that gives you a ballpark on the possibilites if using top of the line resources and 12 points of experimentation.
