I add everything up per crate. It costs me X amout to make/buy tissues. I then add in the resouces. I assume 3 cpu for all the grind stuff i'll need per item and 10 cpu for the high quality resources used in the final production. Last time i did brandy i think it was costing me at like 75k a crate. Now thats more because i have never paid 3 cpu for grind resources or 10 cpu for my good stuff, but i always like to be on the higher end.

I think mark it up according to how much effort it took (for example i mark it up almost 100% for parwan because its a pain for me to get milk and can't make it in bulk runs) and what the current economy is like. My other product i mark up prolly.... 60% or so.

After a while i stopped "costing" all of my products because i got a feel for what it cost me and what it would sell for, and to make my life easier i sell things for only 3 prices atm. 110k, 125k, and 150k (only parwan nuticake is 150k atm).

prices are based on how much time i have to craft. if i would have to craft more to keep up with sales, i raise the prices. if i find myself bored, i lower them. some things i make a very low profit on, other stuff sells like crazy even at high prices.it depends on location, popularity, quality and prolly other stuff as well

Market price + time taken to make + ease of making them + rough resource cost = my price.

Took a spreadsheet of foods that listed stats, and compared each food's stats and made a list of foods ordered from worst to best. Thenset a base priced based on a gut feeling of what I'd pay for it if I were to use it. Then I took that price and compred it to what it costs me to make it; which is usually well above unless it contains creature resources). If I BE the food, then I add 1.5X the be cost to that.

I used to have a more complicated system, but that became too much work.

I am a chef be and tailor. And treat them as seprate businesses supplying only myself. As someone else said 3 cpu is bout going rate for grind resources on most servers. You can usually get meat for be at 10-20 cpu then a decent organic to match would be another 10 cpu its little over 40-50k a crate for additives. Then depending on the quality of your other resources for main componets can cost anywhere between 10-30 cpu for most resources.

If you price under that you are better off selling the resources outright you would make out better on credits.

i personally look at ot her vendors and compare prices. i go to the top 2 chefs on our server and to the other chef vendor in our mall and compare stats vs price then decide from there. like if its vercupti for instance. saw both are 50 fill but mines +377 and his is +200 and he is charging 200k ill charge 250k. basically i compare pricing unless it something i had a really hard time making then i charge whatever i feel its actually worth to me even if it is overpriced. my costomers usually respect that and always just but it anyways.
