all ive done since the cu is encourage the guild members to "give it a chance, give it a chance"
im really starting to miss the old system as the days go on myself to ^
no i wont "LEAVE, JUST QUIT" etc as ive invested to much time in the game, have the city and guild i built from scratch well over a year ago and the main thing that keeps me playing is the ppl ive met and chat to on ventrilo and guildchat, those are the ppl that make the game for me.
For the past few months all i seem to enjoy is the crafting part, when it comes to combat i just get annoyed alot and miss the old system more and more, i have protested time and time again about giving it chances, but as time goes on and 300 new bugs appear each patch my time of giving chances wears thinner and thinner. Bugs that were rectified and just pop back up now that this new "greater system" is in place. Combat lvls has really ruined the uniqueness also that pulled swg away from the rest of the mmorpg's out there, now they have copied that system it just seems like a cheap immitation of trying to use what others already got and swg has lost one of the greatest things it offered away from the other mmo's out there.
Anyway, this is the chef forums and not the place for pre-cu discussions. And from well over the year ive played this i have learned one thing about SOE and that is they are very very stubborn, releasing patches with game breaking bugs that they were told about over and over is only one of many examples of this.
You say 20 new players a day join the game, how many stay?
Ive known fantastic people, and watched some of the best crafters on chimaera quit that have been nothing but dedicated for 1-2 years over this whole thing and what it introduced, I've seen ppl that played the game for as long as me and alot longer also leave over all of this, I had atleast 400 ppl on friends list that I will no doubt never see again because of this, as days and weeks and months goes on i see my friends list becoming smaller due to all of this and the fact that "20 new players join per day" means nothing to me, the chances of them staying for aslong as i knew some of these people will no doubt be slim, you also fail to mention how many continue to actually play and not just quit after there first months sub.
Im not sticking up for either side, im just not happy with the way things have been progressing thus far and giving out silly answers such as "dont like it? quit" to me is just extremely both immature and not needed. Also saying stuff like "bring back pre-cu" dosent help anyone unless your also willing to expand the reasons on what brought you to think this. Otherwise your post just looks irrelevant and will no doubt be ignored while you get flamed with useless posts aforementioned in this paragraph.

Well, if you want to get technical, subscriptions are down since the revamp went live. And I'd say they probably sell more than 20 copies worldwide per day. It would take about 480 years to catch WoW's current player base at that rate. What I don't get is that SOE thinks they can compete with the fantasy market. Oh well. A lot of people leave and a lot of people come in, that's just how it goes.
Yes, I'd love a pre-cu server. And yes, this has been beaten to death and will never happen.

For crying out loud quit your complaining, if you dont like it, leave. They WILL NOT change it no matter how much you people complain. And the funny thing is you people say everyone hates it, well if that is the case why are there tons of people logging in everyday, and we get atleast 20 new players a day?
