Me anda guildmate decided to go chef the other day, he is a master doctor, I am a master smuggler. He is telling me that his med experimentation counts towards food. How am I supposed to compete with that? He is at Mix III and already making sunburns as good as a master.

Seriously though, he's either lying to you or is bugged...

I got 50 medical assembly skill and i'm also master chef. But i still only get 10 experimentation points whilemaking food.So it sounds pretty weird.

Unless it's on TC?

Perhaps he just missread it.

I just tested this on the test center and did not see it. I had +50 medical experimentation and +20 food experimentation and had only 2 experimentation points.

I have master Doc medicine crafting with 10 medical experimentation points and im chef 1/0/1/0 and only have 2 chef experimentaion points. My guess is he is either lying to you or has several levels in the last chef tree (food preperation ? can't remember name of tree) and hasnt mentioned it to you.

What about the materials he's using as well? he could just be getting really good reactive gas so what experimentation he does have works wonders

No, I had just hit Novice Chef, and unknowingly to me I had made some Novice Artisan foods. Experimentation from the Artisan tree was counting towards the food experimetation for low level foods.

I saw 10 experiments, and assumed it was from my Master Doctor tree. Oh well, live and learn, and I have a lot to learn about this profession. *grin*

I am 4-3-4-4 Chef. I cant wait until I make Master. *waits on harvesters to pull in foods*. Hopefully I can Master tomorrow. Woooo.
