Even with a wookie dipped in it, Im not getting my money's worth!

I buy a crate of chef food... nice +100 and +150 constitution and stamina buffing foods....

Gobble 3 servings....

and a mere 3 minutes after, they stop working. (200 second duration average).

What use is this for me when im in the field? Nothing. Sure, ill have above normal stats for a while, but most fights against large targets or nests in dangerous planets usually take more than 3 minutes to take down. My buffs wear out in mid-fight.

Chef buffs from food should last an hour each and be stackable to a max of 2000 per stat. Leave the 'you are full' by eating 3items and drinking 3 items at a time to limit the speed at which people buff themselves.

Yeah, if Doctor Buffs can be hours long, I don't think an hour is such an unreasonable request. If you drink or eat, are you suddenly not full 3 mins later? Not at all, you will probably be buzzed/full for around an hour... if it is a good meal

As I understand it, game time is supposed to be 4 hours to 1 hour. So in that proportion, how long does a 3 minute buff really last? 15 minutes? 30 minutes?

Still way too short. If I had to eat every 15 minutes my wife would think I had a tapeworm.
