Thread: Bio Enhanced Food
Though I hate to dissuade someone from my favorite profession, if *I* were a master BE then I'd pick tailor as an accompanying profession.
Think about it ... would you rather make a muffin that lasts 600 seconds instead of 340 or would you like to make an undershirt that adds +30 to your rifle accuracy, or +20 to your combat medic skills, etc.?
at a generousaverage of about7 credits per unit, the upper level tissues cost about 550-800 credits to make, meaning that the lowest you would likely see them for sale in any duration would be around 1k (give or take). there are only two levels for tissues and the lower ones cost only 1/4 less to make so estimate 800 as the lowest you are likely to see them for sale. these prices are very low though. i have been known to sell clothing tissues (which generally cost the same amounts of resources as food tissues) for 1500 to 3000 each for high endbecause i often have to pay 10 to 30 credits per unit for creature resourcesbecause itry to make the very best tissues i can.
i truly wish food tissues were viable, but i just dont think they will be until people start caring about food. and i mean no offense to the chef community, but im sure you guys know that most people just dont seethe value of food. until people care enough about food buffs and their stats, a marginal difference in effect will not be worth the cost you would have to charge them for the food.
