Pre-patch, you can use better alcohols to make better drinks. For example, the best BOH can be made with aludium. So my question for anyone on TC is, can Vasarrian Brandy be made with aludium? Is aludium even still with us after patch? If not, what is the best alcohol to use as a component now?

Post-patch you can only use 'Alcohol' (the Novice schematic) - no more Aludium.

As well as only being able to use the one alcohol, (yes you can use the prepatch aludium it just won't have any effect) it is a component. Components do not affect the end of the product now.

So if you have crates of pre-patch alcohols, no matter the quality they won't effect the outcome of the drink?
