Hah. I don't know about other servers, but until this latest patch, the Chef trainer in Moenia, Naboo, Bria Server, was a simple looking man wearing a sort of chef's apron. Sometimes he changed gender and it was a woman.


After the patch it is now one of those devil looking aliens, a "devaronian". Are the dev's trying to tell us what they think of chefs? Do they think are are satan-spawn because of our oh-so-harsh requests to get fixed?Probably not, but I just think it's funny.

Well, the trainer in Restuss has allways been one of those (well, he might've changed with the patch, haven't been back for a bit), so this is obviously a long-standing opinion...

From Rich Vogel's Letter to the Community - State of the Game

Basically, we had alot of people quit the game due to bugs, nerfs, lack of content, etc. So to help boost numbers (personal observation: Reminds me of Enron accounting), we tried to lure people back to the game. The Buddy Keys will be put out again tohelp us fight the mass exodus when WoW comes out.



And my personal favorite:

"Nearly every design meeting has your assistant community manager, Thunderheart, attending to fight for the will of the players."

Heh...I was thinking a lot along the same lines.


That wholething was the run of the mill "Devs making a huge paragraph without actually saying anything" statement. Oh well, I've come to expect nothing more.

If the Devs were all women we could call them Aes Sedai(Wheel of Time thing)for their deceiving ways!
