A friend of mine has just started up the Chef tree and I noticed a couple of posts saying that all chef foods were reduced to giving 21 xp on test. Is this a bug or feature? If a bug, has it been fixed?

Well, it was a feature, since most of the Novice Chef foods use 10 raw resources, which using the normal xp = 2x resources meant that they gave 20 xp (21 in practice mode). Soypro uses 20 resources, and was bugged to only give 20 xp, but that's been fixed. Air cake also uses 20 resources (not counting components) and was giving 40 General Crafting xp.
However, sometime last week the devs changed the xp awards for foods to be 4x resources. So at Novice Chef you can make soypro (20 resources) and get 80 xp. If you do it in practice mode, you get 84 xp. If you make it in non-practice mode and eat it (it has no filling, so you never get full off them), you get 120xp. UXP is earned when you eat your own food.
Any way you look at it, it's a definite improvement over Wastril bread.
I've got a column for XP in the spreadsheet I've been putting together for the revamped foods. Tell your friend that post-revamp the desserts tree will be the best route to go for grinding (Pastebread -> Kiwik Swirl)

One question: When do these xp changes take affect? I was working on Kiwik Clusjo but was only getting 178xp. The chart shows it at 260xp. Anyone know?
Thank you in advance

These changes are for the new patch that is due to be launched on Thursday - not in the current version
