If you have that many resources, then it should be NO PROBLEM for you to trade them for what you need. (not to mention that stacks only go up to 100K). If you have even 1/10th what you claim, then you'd have about 100 stacks in your house and 100 stacks in your bank of 10,000 units each. You should be able to trade say 30 stacks of something for 30 stacks of something else... or sell them for 3cpu and buy some at 3cpu.

I'm so having fun with the new setup. Getting the Database setup to decide which ingredients work for which recipes. Adding info from SWGCraft.com to find out what I should harvest. Keeping what's good and seling what's not so good.

It's cross-reference madness my friend.

The addition of DR has made things a bit more complex, but if you already have high OQ/PE/Flavor resources, those will continue to give you good buff sizes and duration, but you may be getting a small hit on Quantity and a larger one on Filling.

As for resource types, the only thing that was really added with the revamp were the container requirements. Multiple gas types, planet specific flora, and creature structural were all in some old chef schematic. The difference is that now they're in useful recipes.

And each category is only based on two stats, instead of three. So if you have high OQ/Flavor, you can focus on duration. High PE/OQ means you can get a higher buff. And one stat is almost always at least twice as important as the other, so you should be able to get mid-range experimentation in something even if the resources have only 1 stat that's on the high end.

Medics begged back at launch and got a simplifaction of their schematics..

As it stands now, we need "perfect" flora. OQ/PE/FL/DR all matter.

While I understand the justification, I don't have to be happy about the fact that my 950+ resources with less than 400 dr's are suddenly.. not legendary anymore

And we have to deal with still MORE resources? Multiple Gas types, Planet specific Resources, Creature structural (!), gemstone, etc. I keep trying to look at the good things that this is bringing, but I keep seeing added complexity without added _fun_. I already have a bank and a house full of resources of nothing under 100k stacks.

I like the way it looks on paper but I can judge it since I have not see it in action. It will make foods very different now from chef to chef which I think is a good thing. Heres hoping for the best.
