This thread is to discuss the effects of the new foods on the test center. Please answer the following questions. This is just meant as a database of effects. If you wish to discuss the effects, please start a thread or post in another thread on the subject.
If your post is off topic, I am going to ask the moderators to delete it. Yes I know I am one of the worse people when it comes to off topic posts. Please don't be offended, I am only trying to keep things organized.
What did the food description say it was going to do?
Did it actually work?
Did you notice a difference. (For example, Jawabeer adds to your maskscent. You may see a bonus under your skills list, but did you actually notice an improvement in game?)
Were there anynegative side effects?
Did you find it useful? Do you see yourself using this buff again?

Ok, just finished up one box's recipes. One change I noticed right away: no more Wastril bread. It's gone. Will be checking for grindables later.
The following is with no experimentation. Every recipe has an optional box for a "light additive" (schematic gained in DomArtsIV), but not having any BE skills (and being too excited to go find one) those have not been used:
Novice Artisan
Bofa Treat
3 Organic (Eggs, 294 DR, 359Flav, 626 PE, 392 OQ)
3 Organic (Eggs, 294 DR, 359Flav, 626 PE, 392 OQ)
8 cereal (rice, 619DR, 448 Flav, 607 PE, 425 OQ)
Quantity: 6,
Health +40, 32m29s
Filling: 11
The health bonus did get added (instantly), the filling appears to be a percent (5 doses got me to just about half-way on the bar). And yes ladies and gentleman, our durations are now in MINUTES!
Oh, and the new Buff window is pretty slick. A single "food" icon popped into it for all the bofa doses, a mouse-over gave the buff name, duration, but not size. I'm not sure if that's something I'm missing or something that we should request added.
Travel Biscuits
3 cereal (rice, 619DR, 448 Flav, 607 PE, 425 OQ)
8 hide (leathery, 571 DR, 643 OQ, 213 SR)
Quantity: 6
Terrain Negotiation: +8.1, 13m12s
Filling: 11
After eating this (with no "Exploration" trained, so I didn't have the skill beforehand) I have8 in terrain negotiation. That's hard to tell if its noticable, I'll try on steeper slopes later. This food does not stack with itself, you can only eat one at a time. I'll have to see how well experimentation on nutrition affects this (or maybe the new additives) to decide if it's useful.
Small Glass
10 gemstone
No experimentation available on it. Used one in....
Glass of Spiced Tea
5 water (927 DR, 610 OQ)
2 organic (Eggs, 294 DR, 359Flav, 626 PE, 392 OQ)
1 container
Quantity: 3
+40 Mind, 33m0s
Filling: 11
(note: stat buffs appear to be stackable, probably only skill buffs are not)
Mind buff looks good. This added a new icon to the buff UI.
Unfortunately, I just got a call that an old friend from out-of-town has arrived. But since I've got an early meeting tomorrow anyway, I'll probably end up playing until I have to go to work tomorrow. Will update with new skill boxes later.

Large glass doubles the quantity of the drink. More to come!

Spoke too soon, it is not even double.
It took a 3 stack up to a 6, and a 5 up to a 7. Mods, have fun, I will be more careful before posting from now on.

I made a bofa treat (stack of 6) and ate them all. I was half full.
Then I went to the cantina and bought some drinks from the bartender. When I tried to drink them, I got a message that I was too full to eat that.

Can you imagine what the master-level food can do now?
I'm still kinda peeved that Chef gets such a glaring redesign when so much is still broken in the combat portion of the game, but this stuff will affect the combat professions very highly.
