I have been hearing that the only people getting respecs are CL 80 is this true or just a nasty rumor?

My Chef is only LvL 1 and my other crafter is lvl 34 and if this is the case I am going to have to start grinding.

What of hybrids, then? I have a character that's mixed combat/crafter, as it's handy for harvester runs and I don't feel like taking a second crafting prof...

Crafters will no longer draw aggro, so CL isn't a worry.

I assume it will go on both CL and SP use in the case of hybrids.

From what I've seen hybrids are NOT good, especially if you want to respec to combat. I saw a post.. have no idea where it went.. by Tiggs that said if you were crafter/combat with all SP used and level 22- if you respec to combat you'll be equivelant if you had no crafting and were just level 22 with all other sp's free.

Don't think it said whether or not you would be able to respec to all crafting though but can combat respec to crafting??

While this is only speculation, it seems to be that you have to go one or the other. Either drop all combat and use all 250 SP in crafting, or drop all crafting and go to CL80.

No, this is a definite. When you choose your class, you can only choose 1 class, so either combat or crafting.

The real test for this will come when they bring the regular TC back online and the tester community can really thrash this out. I myself have 6 active characters of various profs/CL.

I saw this post too. Its very vague though. For now my assumption is that if you have CL22 then thats all you will be if you respec to a combat class. All SP in crafter will be lost forever. I am re-organising all my live chars so that they are either CL80 or Maxed in Master profs / SP.

My BE is an interesting case, he is a Jedi with CL80 and MBE. I am contemplating what to do with him. Probably end up dropping BE though.

If you are Master anything non-combat, you can respec to the same in the new system.

Non-combat respecs via skill points, whereas combat classes respec based on CL.

Maybe I'll grind to CL 54, just to be on the safe side...
