Thread: Higgins, the grouping of Chef/Tailor in NGE is not beneficial to either class.
We need to have a choice of what professions to specialize in. Or an alternative would be to include Master Artisan for all crafting profsto make us complete.
Thank you for acknowledging this. It really is a big concern.
There are still a lot of unanswered questions for chef. What is happening with our Food Additives? Some one from Corbantis reported they they still work when making foods, but if there is no BE to make them, how are we supposed to use them, and why keep our Food Additive schematics if there are no tissues for us to convert?
Really appreciate your comments Higgins. Glad someone is taking this seriously.

Its a shame that such a potentially great system could be overwhelmed by the other stuff.
I'm delighted!!!!!! ![]()
But then.... I'm a Master Chef/Master Tailor! And I've found it a very nice combo. Think of it as the home-ec line of SWG. That is if you're old enough to know what home-ec was <sigh>.
I remember having to learn how to cook, i managed to skip sewing at least. ^_^

This has been gone over a lot, and i mean a lot, on the corre forums. We've asked the devs to reconsider the groupings, or allow crafters to pick 2 specialisations for themselves. We've had no response as of yet.
This is just sad. I've been a master chef/weapons smith with enough merchant and tailor (for trim) to get me byfor a very long time now.I have no need for master merchant and never liked tailoring (mastered all crafting to test what I liked best). And now I'm being forced into mastering tailor and mechant to be a chefand completely give up weapon smith. I really wish they would have thought about had badly they wouldbe tearing apart peoples characters by making these groupings like this. I've gathered lots of good food making items along with materials for making weapons and with these changed one set of materials is going to be worthless to me. And where are chefs goign to get the food/drink additives now that they are getting rid of Bio Engineers?

I remember it. I loved Home-ec because I got to cook and have munchies mid morning..
