Thread: What a freaking nightmare!

I mean, who knows? Should we burn up our precious stack of meat, desperately creating additive that we won't be able to make any more? Will additive enriched food be the "holy grail" of post-NGE SWG?
Or will all our work be turned to junk like it was post CU?
Corbantis! Help us with info. You're our only hope....

I'd really love to know the answer to this too. Will there be an equivalent skill somewhere that lets chefs make their own additive, or will additives be taken out completely making the stock we have now either worth a fortune or worthless when the changes go in?
Well from what I have read from Corbantis Chefs who have tried it out, their additivesconverted over with no changes whatsoever... i.e. Heavy 116 additives were still Heavy 116 additives. Of course this could change you never know... but last night I decided to bite the bullet and start 2 runs of each additive, so when I'm done I'll have a nice supply of additives to use for specialty (i.e ridiculously high-priced) runs if tissues are being removed completely.
Note: IF tissues are going to be removed entirely.. I'll have some serious thinking to do about whether or not this profession and even the game will continue to be a good fit for me. I LOVE this game, but honestly... even though I like some of the changes and am typically very supportive of the Devs and their efforts... I'm unhappy with the sheer lack of communication about this change and the haphazard way it's coming about so quickly. In fact it borders on insulting. ![]()

Well at least it's a little info to go on. I guess I should make as much additives as I can and hope for the best. But like you I'm having second thoughts on if I want to stay chef (since I don't care for the other two classes that come with it) still with whatever weapons are being put into to or find a new home. Just wish they would give more info on what's going on. And with less then a week before the changes go live I'm really worried.
Don't forget the stacking issue. The one where you can only have one food buff at a time. If this is not a bug and is working as intended, food consumption will plummet.
I'm suspecting that it may be intended since no one has found the filling indicator for your character. If it is intended, that alone will be the death song for our profession.
